McDonald’s

We’ve ordered 15 minutes ago and got to the window. We ordered something with chicken and said that we didn’t want to wait for it to be grilled so we ordered a crispy one instead. The drive thru worker told us okay and said it’d only be 1 minute and then continued to say to pull up to the second window and left us waiting. Then as we go inside to tell them about our food, they were waiting on the chicken we said we wouldn’t wait for.

This location has the very worst customer service! The morning crew is especially unpleasant. Orders are always wrong, and when you go back to get them corrected, they’re very rude. I will go out of my way to another location from now on.

Of course I’m gonna leave a one star rating — its a McDonald’s.
Just went there for my wife because she likes this garbage once in a while, but only the breakfast crap. Well… THIS LOCATION DOES NOT SERVE BREAKFAST ALL DAY DESPITE WHAT THEIR NATIONAL AD CAMPAIGN SAYS.
The rude employee on the loudspeaker cut me off to tell me that. So, don’t go here thinking you’re gonna get anything less than false advertisement. Fuck McDonalds but fuck this location specifically.

Walked up to the register to place order. No one else in line however the drive through was busy. Took at least 1 – 2 minutes for a crew member to come take my order. She was pleasant but did not apologize for my wait.
This happened the second time I went to place an order for additional items about 10 minutes after my first order.
The crew member was nice and efficient but lacked the simple courtesy of an apology for the wait.
This surprises me because McDonald’s used to set the standard for customer service.
OH and what’s with this new video menu?!? It moves far to fast and doesn’t show pricing for dessert items. Slow the scroll or get rid of the damn thing. I stood there longer waiting to find the price of fries than I should have.

I really don’t know where to start. Ever since this place got remolded it has been the worst experiences ever at a mcdonald’s. They are so unorganized and since you could see them working in the back you could see them getting mad at each other. They made me wait for just large fries at the drive thru. About 4 times they have gotten my order wrong, I get home and there is pickles, mustard and onions on my cheeseburger when i specifically asked for just cheese and ketchup. I end up going back since i live right around the corner and the closest mcdonalds is on palomar street. They don’t even apologize when they get your order wrong, they make it seem its your fault. They don’t fill up your fries all the way to the top. If i could give this place 0 stars i would.

It would be nice if ever time I go I wouldn’t have to correct my order… or wait forever. Never been to a fast food place that seems to not be able to figure it out. Lucky for them the kid likes them but I avoid them as much as possible.

This is a NEW place, runs like a well oiled machine. You know how you find that ONE McDonalds that does the french fries just perfectly done. This is that place.

Since the reopen… not once have they gotten the order right. Im not sure where «Mighty Kids Meal» gets lost in translation but it does and my son continues to get the small meal… The once loved french fries taste like they are cooked in old fish grease. Whether you walk in or drive-​thru… they will mess your order up somehow… and the drive-​thru? Oh my… the last time we went thru there… hello fast food… NOT! took us… over 30 mins to get our food and they said well it was going to take some time, when we complained… hello, if its going to take time, tell the customer before they accept the order… we only come back cause our son loves it… but the amount of times we come back had dwindled.

Since they have reopened, there have been three instances when I have received the wrong order. Today 9÷13÷2015 being the 3^rd time. The first two times I was on the road and headed out of IB. Today I just headed home.
At the pick up window the associate repeated my order, and it was wrong. I told her what I ordered, she looked at her screen, repeated my order to me, I said yes that is correct. She said it would be right out. She repeated my order to me again, I said yes, she handed me my food, and went home to find out she gave me the wrong sandwiches and shorted me one item. It may have been my order that she read off the screen, but whoever bagged it for her bagged someone else’s order.
I tried calling but everytime I did, it went to fax.
I went back to talk to the manager, and she was very apologetic and gave me a refund.
Unfortunately for McDonald’s since they have reopened this store the service seems to have gotten a lot slower, and MOST of the employees don’t understand what CUSTOMER SERVICE is.

Great appearance but this store clearly has a lot of kinks to iron out! The communication between employees is horrible! I tried from four different people to get honey mustard for my kids sauce and no one came back and told me that they were out of honey mustard sauce! This is the second time I’ve been to the same McDonald’s and they’re still out of honey mustard sauce!
The fries were greasy like the oil had not been very hot… Soggy greasy not crisp you like McDonald’s is known for!
Such a horrible experience I am vowing to never eat at McDonald’s again!!!
When I complained about these items, the staff including the manager just looked at me like there is not an app for customer service!!!

McDonald’s is… UNNNNNBELIEVABLE!!!

I hit the drive thru and ordered an artisan grilled chicken sandwich, small fries and ice tea. Total $ 8.19.
I get home and open up my sandwich and my first thought was, Is this April Fools Day? Take a look at my pictures. The chicken only covers half the bun.
I drove my pissed off butt back down there and asked for the manager who’s name is Arcely. I showed her this UNNNNNBELIEVABLE excuse for a chicken sandwich, I hand her the bag with the sandwich and fries and told her to just refund my money I will go eat somewhere else. She apologizes, goes over to the register and hands me $ 5.39 and a refund receipt. I looked at her and said you must be kidding! I want a full refund! The fries were in the bag I handed you and you can have your ice tea back. She goes and gets the rest of my refund and I walk out shaking my head.
I can see why your average Unilocal review comes out to 2 stars. That’s double what you deserve!

Guys, I know. It’s McDonald’s. I’m not holding everyone’s favorite greasy treat to an impossible standard, trust me. I’m a big fan of Anthony Bourdain, but I don’t share his belief that this is pretty much the third circle of hell in culinary punishments. I love the fries– especially when they’re so freaking hot you can barely grasp one or two in your greasy, salty fingers and have to breathe them in to help cool your tongue. And fresh. Not waxy. Not cold. Not limp. And those limp and cold fries, among other total fails, is what my daughter and I got here in Imperial Beach following the grand reopening of this establishment.
The new drive-​through is set up fairly well, and we were greeted immediately, in good quality audio. We ordered a couple of Big Macs, a pair of large French fries, a 10-​piece McNuggets to share and a couple of drinks. We were served almost TOO quickly, and the speed of that service came into great suspicion once we arrived back home with our newly-​gotten greasy snacks… The food was ALL old and pre-​made. Our large fries were limp and waxy, and had been made at least half an hour prior. The Big Macs were OK, but were poorly made, with heapings of special sauce so heavy that the bread was wet and falling apart. The McNuggets were old and chewy, and almost inedible.
Really? This is what a remodel gets us? On top of the food issues, most employees seemed to be confused and new, and while this is to be expected… C’MON, franchisees– Let’s get training done right. This level of food prep and service is simply unacceptable, and it earned you a big, fat single star. We won’t be back until we hear about some improvements at this spot.

The service is so damn sloooooow. Ordered 10 min ago and still waiting, what a shit show

Dude woahhh first of all ive had the weirdest experience ever here!!! So i went through the drive thru and waited there for about like 5 mins. Waiting to be helped… never heard anything so i decide to pull up to the pay window and explain that nobody ever took my order. The kid at the window started to take my order then told the manager that he couldn’t take it on that register so the manager tells me to pull up to the next window okay i order and tell the youngster in the window if there was any way she could hook me up… she was the reason im giving this place 2 stars hooked up me, my husband and my son with ice cream sundays. Made my experience so much better :) although for a. Nice brand new building… the service is shit. How can you not take my order at the drive thru??? weirdest experience evrrr!!! Probably wont ever go back tho probably will fogort to take my order next time too…

Brand new building, same horrible service and food! You’d think with 40 employees behind the counter you might get an order right, but no.
* 2 visits since it reopened
* 0 orders correct
* Shake machine doesn’t work
* Fries are stale
* Employees are complete idiots

We came here for the first time after they tore down the old McDonald’s and built a new one. I really like the new building. Very modern. New play area for the kids.
The food on the other hand probably tastes the same. What can I say? It’s fast food. Fries will always be great even though it’s not good for you.
The drive thru is always crazy. It’s set up in two lanes going into one final line where you pay and get your food.
Parking is still in the same spot. They got rid of the parking spots near the entrance. I love the new look to McDonald’s. The smell is like smelling a brand new car inside. I gave it an extra star because it’s a new building! Love it!

Waitress was inattentive, the fries were semi-​stale, and the soda was weird tasting. The burger was good, the Big Mac with cheese is a classic sandwich that McDonald’s has perfected over the years. I would have liked to get some ketchup with my fries, but there was only a smidge in the stupid dispenser. When I notified the manager on shift and checked back later nothing had been done. Thanks a lot, for the help. I would have even taken packets but none around. This place is super busy right now, I get it. It just reopened, but c’mon everybody loves ketchup, right? So decided to get ice cream on the way out, got two mcflurries, cost $ 6.25 and whenever go them hey were in a tiny cup and half full wth? $ 3 for a little cup of whipped ice cream? Ridiculous.

This place has no customer service at all really rude and they took like 25 minutes in the drive thru only 3 cars in front if me all I order was a cheeseburger and fries never going there again

This place is ok. I came here with mom to have a cup of coffee and I’m loving the prize for any size and to be able to sit down and enjoy a conversation is pretty nice. I haven’t been here in a while because of remodeling. Let’s see what it will look like ;)
