David was professional and reliable. I had an exterior door replaced. My house is older and every job is not an easy one. David kept me informed and assured the job was on track. The final product was great. Thank you.

A few years ago, I called David to help me fix a raised and sharp edge of the metal threshold between carpet and tile on my rental condo. Within an hour David stopped by. He replaced the old metal with a new aluminum strip. The job was well done. It looks great and fits perfectly. I thought that was a fast turn around and good service that David did but I didn’t write a Unilocal review for him since I only write when the service/​work quality/​price are either excellent or sub-​standard. I am getting to the point now… I called David again last week to give me an estimate for patching up a big stucco hole left by plumbing job. Again, David came by within few hours as he promised. He gave me a reasonable estimate. And while waiting for the insurance to approve, I read the weather forecast it would be rain the next day so I called David again to see what he charges for putting up a temporary cover to avoid rain water leaking in. David said he would do it for free since I am his customer and he makes a point to take good care of all his customers. With such customer-​oriented, I definitely remember Surrogate Husbands every time I need help here and there in the future.

Dave is a good guy with good heart. Called, answered first time up to bat (rare these days with any Unilocal!service that is rated well).
Tried to describe over the phone and he said, nup nup bup bup bup. He wanted to see, assess and then advise.
Come to find out, this is how he does everything. Prefers personal touch and all around customer service.
He is a GC, legitimately knows his stuff and cares about quality work.

Surrogate Husbands is great. I called them to do a number of repairs around my newly bought house because I wanted to have someone close by (IB) andf the really funny name. David and his crew were the best. Even though some of work turned out to be much more complicated … its a 70s house with a lot of obviously half baked lick and a promise owner-​done remodeling, he stuck by his estimate despite the extra work involved and it all looks great. Floors had layers of really scary flooring now beautiful tile. toilets don’t leak, doors and screens and pet doors all work like they were supposed to… Very happy. Highly recommend

Who does’t need a surrogate husband once in a while?
Dave came by today to help with some issues that another handyman service (whom had been at my home four times) could not.
Dave was quick, pleasant to work with. He is an honest and fair man and will not charge you for things that are not worth the time & money.
