Don’t waste your time and money. This was the second time I visited Scottie’s and I was just as disappointed this time. Probably more disappointed in myself for going back. This time it was just for lunch and a couple of beers so I ordered the BBQ pork nachos. The BBQ pork tasted like something bought at the supermarket. Very plain and tasted like bottled BBQ sauce. Whatever cheese they were using was totally tasteless. It was so plain it was almost disgusting. I have been there once before for dinner and that was just painful. I don’t mind loud music in a bar, but not while you are having dinner and having a conversation. The food again was so plain and tasteless and I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Love their buffalo dip and shepards pie. Cool place, especially for the area. They also have live music and a decent bar which is fun. Unique menu there aren’t any other places like it in Jefferson County.

I really like this place. If I lived closer I’d eat here more often. Great bartenders and servers Chicken Philly and tots are great among other good menu items. Been here several times. Nice and clean, lots of TV’s with plenty to watch.

Scottie’s, which is part of the local Gianino’s family restaurant group, has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Imperial. I’ve been here numerous times now, and every meal has been tasty and satisfying. It has a huge bar area on one side with enough tv’s to make you dizzy, and a separate dining area on the other half. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good spot to watch a game, enjoy a nice meal, or both! One of my favorites here is the Guinness Beer cheese soup. I could eat this stuff daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner… it really is that good! I’m not a fan of beer, and you can’t taste it in the soup. What you can taste is the real cheese they use along with the tater tots, crumbled bacon, and scallions in it. I usually pair the soup with a side of the pretzel sticks or the bosco sticks… bread sticks stuffed with mozzarella cheese, topped with garlic butter, and served with marinara sauce. There are plenty of other tasty items on the menu too, and I’ve tried just about everything at this point. Salads loaded with goodies, sandwiches and burgers, pizzas, and plenty of Irish entrees. Scotties serves up large portions of good food at decent prices, and I’d highly recommend to anyone.

Usually a fan favorite but not tonite. Our order was wrong. The onions on the burger were HUGE and not cooked very well. The dirty O’s are usually my favorite but tonite they were soggy and overloaded with pepper. Typically we get good food here… The house burger is pretty awesome and the quad burger is a pretty good choice, just not cooked right tonight. The service was fine. The order was originally wrong but the waiter did make it right. We left pretty disappointed tonight and feeling like we wasted money.

Can be a bit loud at times and smokey but the service is better than most and they have a decent menu.

I’ve loved everything I’ve gotten here! The steak sandwich is so far my favorite, with just the plain cheeseburger right behind it. For the appetizers, I love the pretzels with the beer cheese soup. Service has been for the most part pretty good. The one instance our server forgot to put in our appetizer, she boxed it up for us to take home for free! As others have said, I think the only real downfall of Scottie’s is that there is still smoking allowed. You can’t tell sitting in the dining room, but if you just want to watch the game and drink a beer, you’re going to go home smelling like an ashtray. We’re transplants to the area, but I do believe this will be our regular spot.

The atmosphere was nice. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The service was really good and the food came out in very timely manner. The fried pickles are yummy. I thought the cheese soup stuff could use a little more flavor, but my hubby really liked it. Unfortunately the Dublin waffle was bland for my taste and the applesauce that came with it is just straight from a jar. Also the Kilkenny slinger isn’t all that special… really something you can just make at home. However it was our first time there and we haven’t tried everything on the menu so it may just be a matter of finding what we prefer. All taste buds are different and you’ll never know what you like if you don’t try it. :)

This place has good food, but the live band sucked! Wish I knew there name. There speakers where crackling and the lead sing you could hardly hear because it was to loud. We where so thankful when they took a break.

Great place to go. Beer cheese soup is always a must to get. Things are pretty good here. Just watch it though you can over eat very easy here. But its great to take friends and have some good food and drinks.

I visited Scottie’s late on a Saturday night for a bite and a drink. I remember this place when it used to be O’Aces… back then it was pretty bad. The space was ok, but the clientele was obnoxious, there was typically a cover, and fights broke out all the time. They’ve cleaned the space up. It’s now an upscale sports pub. Lots of big TVs, a good selection of pub food, but they still have the live bands. and they are LOUD… and the band last Saturday sucked IMO. The pizza was really good. The server was really attentive… although my wife says that she wasn’t as accomodating before our full party had arrived. I’d come back, but probably not on a late night when the bands are on.

Very good restaurant. Scotties has a huge menu with plenty of different options ranging from some Irish favorites like bangers and mash to burgers and fries. I’ve tried multiple menu items but my favorite is the Pastrami Burger. Nice size burger with a generous handful of thinly sliced pastrami on top. Add some mustard and it was delicious. Service is spotty and the bar side can get pretty loud. Also, get the white cheese for your fries! So good! Everything was hot, tasty, and came out with 30 minutes.

The food was great but they let people smoke here which is disgusting for non-smokers(most people). It kinda ruined the meal for me. If you want a great meal without leaving smelling like an ashtray, go to their SoCo location(Joey Bs)

We usually go here for lunch or carry out and are always on point. I love their salads and my husband loves the Dublin waffle. Good salad, nothing super, but apparently the waffle thing is heaven. Great booths, friendly staff. Only thing is people smoking in the place-wish Jefferson County would ban the cigarettes.

The food is good and it is a great place to go with a group. The only down side there isn’t much seating so the place ways had a long wait. I recommend going during the week but not on the weekends as you will have to wait around and their food isn’t worth waiting 30 minutes for.

Came here for lunch earlier today based off some of the good things I saw on Unilocal.I’ll have to say it was worth it. The moment I walked in I was greeted with a pleasant hello from the beautiful bartender. Who was funny, and cool to talk to. She was very helpful in guiding me through the menu items. She was very descriptive, and loyally vouched for her restaurants entrees. Maybe I lucked out, but the way she did work made me believe she really enjoyed her job, being there, and it made for a great experience while I was here. After narrowing down all the items on the entrée list, which all sounded absolutely delicious. I had opted for what I believe was a signature dish, the Kilkenny slinger Aka a heart attack. This dish was yummy and made for man’s appetite. You better be hungry when you order this one. You have a bed of tater tots, that are then topped with 2 beef patties, 2 over easy eggs, with a sausage split and separated on east side of the plate, then doused with their homemade chili, topped with the fixings as in shredded cheddar cheese and jalapeños. After lunch I shared a black berry lemonade something shot with the bartender and she had suggested that I sign up with there rewards thing. So I did., I couldn’t say no. Which, by the way I had no idea that this place is owned by the gianino’s family. You know bill gianinos, Frankie g’s, Joey b’s, and Billy g’s… You know, I don’t know too much about all those other places. I had Frankie gianino’s the other day, and the pizza was okay. Drinking at a Joey B’s can be a mess on the landing. But whatever system they got going on with Scotty’s, it was just definitely better. It can get a little pricey, but I’ll keep coming back for the excellent pub food and that service I hope I get it again.

Had dinner here tonight for the third time and, as usual, it was delicious. I can’t resist the Guinness cheese soup and pretzels to start. The soup is the perfect«dip» for the soft, yummy pretzels. It’s filling so get the cup and share the pretzels. I definitely recommend the Black and Bleu salad. The steak is perfectly tender and the dressing is wonderful. The pizza is also really good, and my husband is a fan of a couple of their offerings built around corned beef. The service is always good, with attentive servers and bartenders who seem to have a good grasp of the menu offerings. They have a ton of TVs, so its a great place to catch a game. It seems fairly family-friendly early, but I dont think I’d bring the kids in late. It is a pub, after all.

So, my summary for this establishment is: amazing ambiance, but they could upgrade their menu, or perhaps train their cooks on better food preparation. I went with a friend during Mardis Gras to experience some good specials. We were seated pretty quickly, and I got the chance to look all around. Its a typical irish establishment. There is a lot of beautiful stained wood and there is a plethora of flat screen televisions, not on the walls but in each booth. Since it was Mardis Gras, and I love to try new things, I tried their Crawfish platter. The platter consisted of: the fish of course, some spiced sausage, and roasted potatoes. I agree with my friend’s review of this place: it could have been a better food experience, the crawfish had very little meat, and the potatoes were hardly cooked. Some of them were kind of crunchy, meaning they should have been cooked longer. The sausage, by far was the best experience, however, I didn’t get much sausage either. As a plus, I did get to go home with a free T-Shirt.

Apparently the call head service is useless. We called last night and were told call an hour ahead of time. We called today before coming. One hour and 40 minutes latter we were seated. We had a party of 12. Two of our party left. We would have if it was not for our 84 year old grandma wanting to stay thinking it could not take much longer. The food is typical bar food. Average price. Way too smoky tonight in the non smoking section. Also lots of people smoking while walking through the waiting area.

Being huge fans of the Gianino group of restaurants(Frankie G’s, Joey B’s) we were quite excited to find out about this new restaurant opened by the family. Located right off the highway in Imperial, its at a great location that is sure to bring the crowds. It is huge! The dining area has options for tables and booths — be sure to get a booth to catch the latest game on the private tv that is there for your viewing. The menu is vastly similar to the two I mentioned above but they have a few items that are their own. We started out with the pretzel appetizer and moved on to the cardinal chicken sandwich and the spinach chicken sandwich, both with fries. We were not disappointed! The staff is super nice. Yes the girls are wearing short shorts but unless you are someone totally bothered by it you won’t notice. Be sure to moseye around the establishment. They have a game area in the back with shuffleboard, and others with many tvs on the walls. The bar is huge and there’s bound to be something catching your eye there.
