I went in to get a couple of burgers to go. I ordered the Mac and Cheeks hamburger and the Chorizeada hamburger. Both were decent, but nothing amazing. My biggest complaint were the hamburger patties themselves. The patties were seasoned well and had a nice flavor but were overcooked and dry. They never even asked how I wanted my hamburger cooked. I prefer my hamburgers cooked medium, but these came out well done. The hamburgers both came with french fries which had just the right amount of salt and had a good flavor, but were too soggy for my taste. I don’t know if this restaurant used to be at another location before opening at their current location in Imperial, but I looked up their website and the picture of the interior of the restaurant looks nothing like it does now. The picture on the website is much nicer than how it really looks. The menu is also different on the website compared to the actual menu in the restaurant. The employees were friendly and attentive and it didn’t take long for my order to come out. Overall, a decent attempt for a new restaurant in the Imperial Valley, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially in an area where restaurants come and go in a blink of an eye.
