In the past, I’ve always been able to provide a florist with a picture of what I want to order, get a quote and be happy with the results. So when a friend’s husband passed away I called this florist based on their location to the funeral home, and sent a picture of the plant arrangement I wanted to order. They gave me a price and I placed the order. I only asked they send me a picture of the final product before delivering it. They never sent a picture. When I went to funeral I didn’t recognize any arrangement there as being the one I ordered. I asked again for a picture, and this time they texted me a picture. To my horror, it was nothing like the picture I provided, but something very cheap and ugly arrangement. I am so embarrassed at what they sent. I could have gone to any grocery store and brought better. This the first time in all my years of dealing with orders by phone that this has happen. I have never suggested a price, but leave it up to the florist to decide a cost based on the picture. Certainly, if they can not make the same as provided in picture or need to charged more, they should tell me that, not quite a price, take my money and make something else. I suspect the reason they never sent a picture before delivering is they knew they were providing less than what I ordered. This certainly isn’t a florist that can be trusted. It’s sad, because I doubt I will ever trust another florist by phone order again.

I recently order flowers for a friend that turned 30 years of age… I live in a different state and placed the order via phone! I am always a little worried ordering flowers over the phone, but i had faith in the supplier as she said i had a perfect arrangement for a birthday! I trusted her and placed the order, asked what time she thought they could get delivered and promptly answered, «oh, for sure within a couple of hours!» i thought that works… well the flowers were there within a ½ hour and based on the picture my friend sent there were perfect!
on a side note… not only did she take my order but also delivered them to my friend and gave her some helpful hints on how to maintain them!
