Been here a few times for various meals, and they’ve always delivered. Solid food and great service… their employees are always pleasant, and I appreciate that. Their waffle fries and chicken strips are also some of the best around… worth my visits.

Near major mall — Both of our Chicken sandwiches were SMALL compared to other locations???

This is a great place to eat fast food chicken. The people are always friendly. My son loves all of the dipping sauces. They have recently added a kale salad and it is very good. The place is a bit pricey for fast food, but I’d rather pay more and get better quality.

If I could give this zero stars I would but for that one star I’d say that the food was pretty good. I always use to like CFA but when I went in this one time with one of my best friends the customer service was CRAP. I work in fast food and customer service is a very important thing and this«Christian» company has the worst customer service. The lady who took my order and my friends order was very unpleasant and never smiled at me and then when my friend asked her if they could put mayo on her chicken sandwich the lady said«no, we have mayo packets behind you to put it on yourself». First off, you never EVER tell a customer no. She could’ve said it in a completely different way but came off as such a b*tch. Then she never told us how we were supposed to get our food. My friend and I were sitting down and then someone just waved us over from behind the counter saying«your food is over here» basically yelling from across the restaurant at us. Like… It’s not our fault no one told us how we were supposed to get our food. Every other time I had been there I had gone through the drive thru BTW. Not planning on going back just because they don’t know how to talk to their guests and because they’re a Christian company and not open on Sundays!

I love Chick Fil A. But since I’ve moved to Independence from Lees Summit, I’ve had to start going to this location. They recently changed the buns they use on their sandwiches… And my order is almost always wrong. Might have to start driving to Lees Summit whenever I want some.(Disappointed) :(

I’m not about to dress like a cow for anybody, but it’s yummy nonetheless. Our whole family will happily eat here. If you have children, you understand where I’m coming from. I love that they are trying to move toward more healthful ingredients and really working with experts and their suppliers to see if they can go organic and more whole foods. We’ll see what the future holds, but I still prefer Chick-fil-A to 99% of fast food stops.

I guess I can’t even leave a review about the food because while it says their hours are until 10PM, I went pretty far out of my way to go to this location because I had a coupon for a free sandwich. I figured I might as well use it up. It was only about 8:30PM and the place was a ghost town. I’ve had CFA a few times before and their chicken is never crispy. I’m told that it is supposed to be like this. How do they get such good ratings? Why would someone want something deep fried, yet not crispy. I don’t get the draw of this place. Notice how most of the reviews don’t say much about their food. The pictures of the food even look like garbage.

As my mother and I entered the building we were talking about how we always enjoy how kind and courteous the servers are at Chick fil a. We are not in our neck of the woods today and had not visited this location before. Sad to report our expectations were let down. Though I greeted the cashier with a smile she never returned one. I placed our order in a friendly way and asked a question about an offer on the signage outside. She was not only uninformed about the offer but was rude in answering me. Later, she asked what toppings I wanted on my yogurt and I misunderstood something, having never ordered like this before, and she was condescending and pushy. I was hoping my experience was just the server having a bad day but my mom thought it was her personality. After reviewing the previous Unilocal reviews on this location it seems I am not alone and this was not an isolated incident. :( The team never checked on us as they usually do at most locations and never cleaned the tables — most of which were dirty. There was hardly any customers this morning inside or through drive thru so there was no excuse.

I used to love it here. The food is great. HOWEVER, the«Christian» service is horrible. I won a Facebook contest and went in to get my prize. I was told in front of the crowd that I wasn’t on the list. I told her that I was notified as a winner. She went to the back and returned with a prize and said«you really aren’t a winner but we will let you have this anyway.» I emailed the owner and explained how embarrassing this was. He said he knew I was a winner and was sorry. He made excuses for how I was treated. Come to find out, it was his mother-in-law that treated me this way. Then, not a week later I went through the drive thru. They were very busy and had an assembly line going that I could see and hear as I waited for my food. The same manager said«my god, they want Chick fil a sauce and mayo?! That’s a heart attack waiting to happen!» Such nice Christian people there. Wow.

I’m a big fan of the chicken here. Delicious. This is one of the better locations in KC. Avoid peak times, it gets hammered. They deal with it pretty well, but it does get a little too busy to deal with. Some of the CFA locations are real skimpy on sauces, you have to ask. This location has them all laid out so you don’t have to wait in line or beg like Oliver Twist. Nice. Other locations should emulate this practice. The Lee’s Summit store, for instance, is much stingier with the condiments. Like Culver’s, they seem to hire a little better caliber of worker than the average fast food place. You rarely if ever get a slow, lazy person at the counter or anyone with attitude. They must screen their hires better, or not tolerate mediocrity like, for example. Mickey D’s seems to. I would agree with some of the other comments that the it’s fairly pricey for fast food, and the portion sizes are a little on the small side. I’d probably give them 5 stars if the bang for the buck factor was a little better. Ultimately, though, the tasty food and attentive service earn a solid 4.

This place does it right. Friendly service, super clean restaurant, great food. Sign up for their text club and follow them on FB. There are frequent contests and giveaways. The text club often sends out BOGO texts. Other CFAs in the area need to get with it. Best CFA in the metro area!
