You won’t find anything here unless you want brand new overpriced albums. No way to play any albums if you did find one. Buy 2 used albums get your third for a dollar says it all.

Something for everyone at this huge store! Very easy to find what you’re looking for.

We stopped over to shop as a treat for our teens. Website says open until 7, sign on the door indicates closed at 5. We have watched more than a dozen people try to enter the store and walk away frustrated all within the less than 5 mins. Not cool!

With the closing of Street Side Records downtown Kansas City is at a real lack of good record stores. Fye stands alone.
In most cases fye is a generic mall store owned by Transworld. This one on the other hand is a free standing shop that could fit 4 of the mall fye’s inside of it. With a great selection of music, movies, games and novelties the chances of finding what you need is very high. If they don’t happen to have what you are looking for they can always order it.
For vinyl enthusiasts they just added 3 big racks of new and used wax. You can find everything from D.R.I. to Frank Sanatra. At a reasonable price.
Unlike most record stores the staff here is very friendly and helpful. No holier then thou record store nerds turning their noses up to your selections. Sometimes I miss that though.
From a promotion stand point they are awesome and welcome flyers and posters.
