2 stars for being«Meh. I’ve experienced better», 4 stars for serving the core of a small town with a relatively nice store. Average = 3 stars. The worst offense I’ve seen at this store is how the owners’(or managers’) bound-to-be-spinster daughter treats the other employees. She’s a working-class wench, but she thinks she’s something. She is very entitled. She needs a dose of humility, big time. She’s pathetic because if she were all that her attitude suggests she thinks she is, she would be living in Kansas City and have a professional job and be enjoying her life, not stuck in some small-town grocery store and unhappy about it. Pathetic. And don’t get me wrong, I love Independence and admire humble, legit people, but I needed to put things in perspective. Overall, Marvin’s is a great grocery store for Independence. It could be far worse and they have a pretty good selection, even beyond the bare necessities.

Better meats and some specialty items that you can’t find at Wal-mart.
