My family feels great about sending our kids to this Goddard school. Friendly staff with low turnover was the reason we chose the school. Our Daughter is advancing faster than other children not enrolled at the Goddard in Independence.

Our child was sick each month while attending half days and even contracted a hand, foot and mouth virus which started in a completely different classroom all of which may have been avoided if they implemented a hand washing policy.
We were extremely disappointed as the classroom teachers were wonderful but on more than one occasion our child was left at a table by himself without a book or activity (since he was the only half day student in his classroom) and soon realized that he actually sat there for up to 20 minutes without any stimulation.

We looked at several centers when we learned our small daycare was closing when our son was two and a half. Moving to Goddard was the best thing we did for our son. He is socially & mentally steps ahead of other children his age. They focus on learning & development. All members of the staff are involved in the learning process from the owners down to the teachers. If you are looking for a place for your child to learn & grow in ways you would not believe this is the place for you. If you want a babysitter, search elsewhere. They are far superior when compared to any center I visited in our area from the staff to the facilities available for the children. GREAT PLACE! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

Great school. The owners are very involved with all aspects of the business. They are constantly looking for ways to improve the environment for the children. All of the teachers are of exceptional quality.
This school is not a typical day care/​babysitting service. Everything is geared toward development and education. No tv/​video time. We highly recommend Goddard School.
