When I found out my hair was too short for extensions, and needed to grow a couple of more inches or more, it occurred to me that I’ve not taken any vitamins for almost 4 or 5 years. I knew exactly where to go. I’ve ordered from the Vitamin Shoppe, but not actual vitamins, so I was familiar with the store. I went inside, and I was greeted by Cheryl who knew exactly where the magnesium was(needed with Biotin, which is a hair-skin-nails vitamin), and I mentioned my hair. So, she led me to the hair-skin-nails section, an entire section based on hair-skin-nails! She then asked me if I took a multi vitamin, I said, «No.» And she suggested an inexpensive(to me, anyway) multivitamin with biotin and other ingredients in it for hair. And her eyes scolded my nonvitamin habit. I also mentioned the milk allergy, and that I had been eating ice cream for calcium. So, ofcourse, they had a calcium supplement on sale(the chewy caramel calcium), buy one get one for ½ off, which I also was able to sample in the store. The store is new, shiny, and features all vitamins of all brands, and supplements, and even health drinks, and a helpful staff. I like the layout of the store, too. Cheryl fixed me up on a new vitamin habit, and hopefully I can keep it up, through motivation.
