I’ve only done business here once, so my review isn’t based on a ton of experience. They had a Groupon for a tune up that seemed attractive, so I bit on the deal. Now, I assume businesses use Groupons to introduce people to their business, to get their feet walking in the door. If the Groupon folks get good service, then the person is likely to continue to spend money at the store at a higher margin than the Groupon was. So it’s kind of an audition promotion. Give us a shot, so to speak. So, it puzzles me when businesses create an impression that the Groupon is something subpar or cut rate when a customer redeems it. As I see it, you should be super stoked that someone is giving you a shot. If you woo them a little bit, they’ll be back to spend more. When I took my bike in for the Groupon tune up, they were friendly enough, I guess. The thing that rubbed me a little bit the wrong way was the amount of time the guy spent telling me what the Groupon did NOT cover. He went on at length about this before I left, somewhat belaboring the point that the Groupon was very limited and only for the most bare bones service. Now, I understand that you need to set my expectation. Heck, I read the dang Groupon. I realize I’m not getting all new 105 componentry installed. I realize my frame is not going to be transformed from AL to Carbon. You don’t really need to keep hammering the point of how minimal the Groupon tune up is going to be. It just came across to me that, although they were polite, they could have done a better job at handling the situation. Don’t spend 75% of your time minimizing the Groupon to the point where when I leave, I am questioning whether I should have spent the money on it. Find some way to promote it’s value to me, sell me on it a little bit, sell me on your shop. Make me leave thinking, dang, I got my money’s worth. I’m beating this horse into the ground, I know. It’s just that their mannerism made me feel slightly awkward using the coupon. The service got done, they were polite enough. I just think they missed to boat a tad on using the Groupon to introduce someone to the business in an enthusiastic way.

Great service and friendly staff. They had some great jerseys on sale so I bought two. Clean presentation and they had some nice high end bikes.
