Rapunzel’s Salon & Day Spa

We moved to the area a few years ago and I struggled finding the perfect hair salon. Now I cannot go anywhere, BUT Rapunzel’s. Mary is the best. You know you look fab when your coworkers tell you they love your hair and ask where you go. This is an Aveda salon like 100 feet from the beach. It doesn’t get much better than that. On a fall or spring day, they’ll leave the door open. Close your eyes, relax, hear the seagulls and smell the fresh gulf air while sipping herbal Aveda tea. I send all of my visiting friends, snowbird mom and people new to the area, to Rapunzel’s. Truly the best salon in the area. Note: They also offer makeup, massage, facials, nails, and other services. I can only speak about the amazing cut and color I get with Mary every 2 months.

I moved to IRB recently, but haven’t needed to find «my salon». I called this morning after realizing I’d injured my arm last night and was unable to wash, dry or even brush my hair. Lucy was lovely enough to get me in immediately for a blow out due to a cancellation and I ended up getting a trim. I felt horrible when I came in, but felt like I was leaving with Kate Middleton’s hair. I have found my place and my new stylist. Thank you, Lucy!

I met Mary for the first time this weekend. She did a super nice job framing my face with some layers and did an awesome job on my bangs. Everyone in the salon greeted me and made me feel very comfortable. I’ll be back, but to the Treasure Island location next time, just because it’s closer to home.

Diane and Mary have cut my hair for almost twenty years. It’s always looked great and modern and exactly what I’ve wanted. I always receive compliments whenever I get a hair cut.

I don’t go here anymore either, the person cut my hair too short 3 times and the color was never the same each time… I will never go back to this salon. BTW her name was Sam

I was very displeased with the hair cut I had here. I told the girl NOT to cut my bangs too short as they really shrink up when dry. What happens? I come out looking like I have 1″ bangs. Not only that but I have very fine hair and she used hardly any product whatsoever so by the time I stepped out in the breeze the look was history. I will never go back to this place even thought the staff was very nice while chopping my locks off.
