Great spot for BREAKFAST if you can sit outside away from the bar atmosphere. Extremely inexpensive for a ton of food and great service.

We have eaten here many times, nightly specials Rock! Bartender Cal is a great guy, always great service. Nice to find a place with a real dart bard /steel tips. Wing and pizza night specials are great!

We used to love going to TRL– I’m talkin 10 years! We’ve recommended many people to visit. They have great wings and during NFL games would charge .50 cents a wing. Today, we wanted to watch the patriot vs bronco game and grab some wings. We got there, grabbed a table and ordered some wings. Delicious! When we got our bill– they charged us full price for the wings. I’m only talking 5 $ difference, but I asked why they weren’t doing the special anymore. The waitress responded– you ordered before the game started, then said, «she is watching with her camera and we will get in trouble if we don’t charge you the full price since you ordered before kick off». Are you kidding me??? We ordered literally as they were singing the national anthem before kick off. No signs are posted regarding this rule– she didn’t even offer to smooth things over. Unfortunately, we won’t be recommending anyone eat at this establishment anymore. This is not a way to treat valued, local customers. Thumbs down

Great place to eat anytime while you are in IRB. They have all you can eat nights every day of the week from roast beef and fried chicken to crabs and fish and chips. A real nice place to eat. Looks like mainly locals come here. It’s not fancy but who cares.

They food here is great for bar food. The beers on tap are varied enough that there’s something for everyone(I come for the Hoptical Illusion IPA). The customers are refreshing in that you don’t get many trashy people, it’s usually nice and mellow. The real dart boards are fun also. On the negative side it’s a little cramped and the parking is usually insufficient. Still I really like this bar, go here!

Your typical dive bar. Good beer selection, fusball, pool, darts. Has food which we didn’t try, but all and all good location. Outside seating, dog friendly and open late.

The worst!!! 45 mins to get breakfast, which the rude ass waitress managed to screw my order up. No wonder they have a ‘help wanted’ sign up. Dont eat bere! Unless you like pepper which is all you can taste… again, THEWORST!!!

Found this place while in desperate need of a burger. Sliders for $ 6.95, pretty decent. Not the greatest of the good but decent.

Pretty decent dive. Some friends recommended their breakfast and it was some pretty great bar food. Hot, tasty, just a little greasy. Service was great as far as dive bar hangover dood goes, they even gave us an extra serving of sausage because they thought they overcooked them(maybe a little, but they were damn tasty.) Dirt cheap food too, even compared to the cheapest and greasiest breakfast joint. Ambience was pretty standard dive bar – dark wood, green carpet – but it was clean and in decent shape.

Stopped in for lunch while driving along the beaches. Definitely a dive, BUT the staff was wonderful and the food was really good. My husband ate a Reuben and I had honey BBQ fried shrimp. We’ll come back next time we drive through.

I’ve been here in the past to meet some friends for a birthday and everyone had drinks and watched the game, but I’ve never had their food until tonight. I didn’t feel like cooking, so we ordered a few Shepherd’s Pies to go. They are VERY saucy — lots of brown gravy. Maybe a bit too much but it is still decent. The top is totally smothered in cheese and also topped with bacon. Who doesn’t love bacon? Go away, if you don’t love bacon. I’m usually a bit of a health nut, but bacon, cheese, and shep pie are choice for cheat days. Bacon. Oh yeah, Red Lion. It’s pretty decent. Not mind blowing, and not better than my Shep Pie that I make from scratch, but I’d probably order it again. Will report back the next time I eat something else here. Now for this bacon…

i came across the red lion when i was on vacation with my boyfriend & family. we were all getting pretty hangry and took a gamble on this divey bar. our server was really friendly and attentive. She took care of our large party with ease. We got a smörgåsbord of food. scallops, buffalo fried shrimp, the platter of apps, chicken tenders. it tasted amazing & extremely inexpensive

Went for breakfast with my mother and my two small children. The place is a quintessential dive, so my expectations for the food were low. My mom and I both ordered the eggs benedict.. it was divine! Eggs poached perfectly, fresh English muffin, delicious Canadian bacon and amazing, made-from-scratch hollandaise! The waitress was very nice and accomodating. She even found a coloring book for my 22 month old. I withheld one star due to the dive-y atmosphere. In the end, we had a great breakfast on a nice patio on a beautiful, sunny morning.

Kind of a creepy place with VERY drunk regulars. It’s billed as an English pub so if the English like to drink to the point where they’re unintelligible, then this is definitely an English pub. Inside smelled kind of gross, seemed like there was no air circulation(very stuffy) and the beer selection is weak. The outdoor area isn’t much better. Poorly maintained with cheap patio furniture. And there were bottles of hand sanitizer on every table(makes you wonder) and I utilized mine quite a bit. Didn’t try the food and I’m kind of afraid to. Won’t return.

If you are just looking for beer this place is probably ok, but the food is not good and the place does not look like it has been cleaned since the 70s. Fish and chips for the lunch portion was 1 piece that looked like it came from a frozen bag and then a hugely oversized portion of also frozen coated French fries. Service was terrible and our wait person made excuses for everything.

My husband and I ate at the Red Lion for dinner tonight and we were both pleased with our food. I got the buffalo wings with homemade blue cheese and tater tots, and my husband got a philly cheesesteak. Our food was good and the prices were as well. We were very intrigued by the nightly specials. It was a bummer that tonight was 25 cent oyster night and they were out of oysters, but we will try again. This is definitely what I would call a «dive», but the waitstaff was super friendly and we would definitely eat here again.

Had a party of 12 wanting to dine outside because we had 2 dogs with us & the male British waiter said the 2 remaining outdoor tables were closed because«it might rain». We went ½ block down to Sandbar, ate outside & spent close to 200 for lunch. When I called in to speak to manager later, this same British waiter hung up on me! My husband & I own 2 businesses that rely on customer service. This waiter would have been fired on the spot! Great food & great outdoor atmosphere but horrible waiter!!!

To call this place a «dive» is an understatement. Not to mention, it offered some of the rudest, most apathetic service I’ve ever experienced. I stopped there because it has a dog friendly porch, and I had my dog with me. I was summarily ignored by two members of the wait staff who walked past my table multiple times without greeting me or otherwise acknowledging my presence. I eventually just got up and left. I should probably feel thankful, because I can’t really afford a trip to the emergency room to treat the case of food poisoning I would inevitably contract from this god-awful hole anyway. Rest assured, I won’t be back anytime soon.
