The people here have real heart.
After the first time I dropped my four year old daughter off, she didn’t want to leave. It’s the same every single time and we drop her off as a reward for being extra good so she has been there quite a bit over the past six months since we moved here. The second time I just called to see if they were open a week later and they remembered me and my Daughter by name.
They write up notes on how her time there went, even if she is only there an hour while I get my nails done next door or go to a movie at the theater in the same complex. They don’t serve food because it is an hourly place (though I hear they now have daycare) but you can order food from Sun Valley Café next door and SV will take it over to your child, or you can just drop off a packed lunch for them and the staff makes sure they take time to eat. I wish more people would partake of Stay and Play (there’s also one at the Extreme Ice Center off Independence). They are such great people offering a really great service and it never seems busy in there.
I know right now they have a $ 5/​an hour after 5pm Monday-​Thursday though it is normally $ 10/​hour, they do have packages you can buy. They are open until 9pm m-​th and until 11pm fri-​sat. The Extreme Ice center is open Sundays now, from noon to 5pm.
