Pros: Calamari is really good… Had the carbonara and bambino pizza as well… Food was great but service kinda sucks… It’s our first time here… Got seated right away… Nice view and ambiance. Cons: We came in way before the other party of 5 and they got served first… Ordered the same appetizer as they did… There were about only 5 tables occupied… Ordered an iced tea and took about 10mins… Im not sure if it’s because we were the only brown customers… Disappointing service… One of the servers doesn’t even smile…

We stayed at the Renaissance hotel over the weekend, and because most of our group wanted to stay at the resort instead of driving out to find a place to eat, we settled on this place. Our group got seated right away, which was nice. However, our server was monotoned and expressionless. Would have liked to have friendlier service, but whatever. Not that big of a deal I guess. The reason for my 2 stars is because pretty much everything we ordered form the menu, they didnt have. Kale Salad? Out of kale. Short rib ravioli? No, it’s lobster ravioli tonight. Whole Wheat Pappardelle pasta? Well, it’s spinach papperdelle now. It was such a joke. Why have things on your menu that you dont actually have? Anyway, the food itself wasnt bad, but I wouldn’t come back or recommend this place, especially when there are SO many other great restaurants around the desert to try out(if you’re willing to leave the resort).

My party of 2 for seated right away and the service was really good. However, the food was awful. My mom and I came here because we had a free garlic knots coupon. The garlic knots were tasteless and too hard which I was really disappointed about. Then we got the Primavera pizza and it was horrible. It smelt awful and was hard to eat since there were big pieces of artichoke and broccolini on top. We were planning to split the pizza and I think it would have been enough food but we didn’t want to finish it because of the taste. Other tables had spaghetti or cheese pizza that looked good but I probably wouldn’t go back. The prices were very reasonable though!

The only thing good about this place is location of seat near window. It took 22 minutes before being asked for drink orders once taken and recieved was not checked on again the an additional 17 minutes before bread was brought and being told on the house because the kitchen was backed only to find we were charged, it was taken off after pointed out but it was very interesting that certain individuals had more attention. Asked for to go boxes way before any other yet other tables we brought out and waited 3 additional times. Wouldn’t recommend

Staying at the Marriott Renaissance, with my Family. My daughter went to SPC to grab a pizza for the 4 of us and got a very small portion. For $ 15 you got to be kidding me. We could have done better at Little Caesars for $ 5, and we all know what that taste like. Being Marriott restaurant I would expect more.

Food was great, our server was amazing, and it was a nice atmosphere. Definitely going to eat here again while at the hotel.

Great dining experience inside the Indian Wells Renaissance Resort – without the resort prices. Casual atmosphere – FASTSERVICE – wonderful atmosphere. Excellent food – had the Caesar salad, calamari and a pizza all split for two people. More than enough food for under $ 45. Very friendly, attentive staff. I live here FT and will definitely be coming back.

Instead of leaving the hotel after a long afternoon by the pool, we enjoyed a simple pizza and salad at Sirocco. The thin pizza crust was traditional Italian, with a nice crunch when freshly served. The toppings and sauce were above average. There is probably better food outside the hotel, but the convenience cannot be beat.

Great little place at the Renaissance! First of all, it’s not just pizza, despite the name. Second, the menu on Unilocal is way out of date. Go to the restaurant’s website. Even though my wife and I didn’t find what we expected we were not disappointed. After we ordered, Ryan, the chef, stopped by our table to chat with us about the spelling error we found on the menu. He explained how important locally-sourced produce is to his operation. The Caesar salad was great, proving that his strategy works. Our entrees were terrific — tagliatelle with spicy Italian sausage, and short rib ravioli. The portions were generous. Halfway through, our waiter, Lewis brought complimentary dough knots: hot, fresh-baked rolls with herbs, served with a tasty marinara sauce. After we finished, we were treated to delicious complimentary berry gelato desserts. The only thing better than the food was the service. We would not hesitate to come back!

Maybe eating at the restaurant gives better results but our takeout order was inedible. The two pizzas and garlic knots were so hard and chewy the only explanation was that they were microwaved. Also, those beautiful wood fire pizza oven pics on Unilocal are totally false. This was not a wood fired pizza. No char. No super thin air filled crust. In fact, the crust seems suspiciously like a frozen pre-made crust. Even my children couldn’t choke down their cheese pizza. The Caesar salad was wimpy. The«blistered» tomatoes were heated just enough to make them mushy, but not enough to make them yummy. Save your money and go to little ceasars or papa johns. At least you know you’ll be able to chew your food and you won’t have spent $ 55 on two small pizzas 4 tiny rolls and a handful of romaine lettuce.

Very noisy place. We were at a corner table, but still had to shout to hear each other. Pizza was mediocre, and the arugula in the salad was not good quality.

Visited SPC for the 1st time with friends. We were the only table for nearly the entire night. No matter. Our waiter Lewis was terrific. Friendly and very helpful He steered us to a great pizza and a couple of pasta dishes that were really yummy. We would probably return if not or the prices of the alcohol /wines. Way out of line. There are so many other good places in our area with way more reasonable drink prices. T too bad… we really liked Lewis.

Convenient and tasty if you’re staying at the Renaissance hotel, but the food all seems to be a little on the greasier side. Also pretty pricey: $ 4.00 iced tea, $ 20.00 chicken pasta, $ 7 sorbet. Nice people working there and again the food was tasty, but definitely a $$$ restaurant.

Pros: Service was great, view and décor were nice, they have specials each day, one of the salads we had was quite good(although it had a price tag to match) Cons: Pizza was just ok, I was NOT a fan of my linguini with clams… it needed fresh parmesan cheese or something with a little flavor. Garlic knots were complimentary that day but I have definitely had better… not something I’d pay for but definitely a nice complimentary addition. Overall too pricy for what we received but it IS a hotel restaurant so the up-charge should be expected I guess. I think I just wanted a better tasting meal for the price.

Wow, there is so much to say about this place! It was a Monday, called to make a reservation at 6pm, but didn’t need to. It was only my husband and I. Coming from Riverside, we were trying to find a great place to eat for our anniversary. We got there and there were 5 different hosts ready to greet us and seat us. Our first response was, wow! Then we got seated by the window near the beautiful pond and fountain(so romantic!). Our server, Michelle, was the sweetest! So lovely and so committed to making sure we knew what the menu was about and the wines we were trying. She knew it was our anniversary and gave us wine and desert on the house!(who hoo!) As we left, we let the co manager, Andrew, know our experience and was the cherry on top! So so nice, we related so well with him and he was such a kind person willing to make sure we left with big smiles. We definitely did and will be going back! Enjoy!

Just a heads up to everyone. This place has very inconsistent operating hours that make it a very unpredictable place to dine. My wife and I tried to eat here twice this weekend and both days it was closed. I talked to the Hotel staff who said it’s not always closed but could not give me a straight forward answer for when their normal operating hours are. I wouldn’t make a spontaneous visit, call the Renaissance Hotel before dropping by.

Great atmosphere. Good food, it was a slow night and service was also slow. There was a 3 and 4 top already eating. By myself and I waited for a hello, my order, a refill… Seemed like there was plenty of staff. Such a nice resort I was a bit surprised. I wasn’t in a hurry. They picked up the pace ½ way through.

Seated right now at Scirocco. Perfect meat and cheese selection. The prosciutto was perfect and the cheese we selected complemented our taste. We are early eaters 6pm. So it is not busy on a Sunday evening. Woodwork Pino bottle is fantastic. Mellow. Central coast although he menu says Sonoma. We ordered the baby Kale salad(yum) and the Caesar, yum as well! Entrée. Funghi pizza and spaghetti with meatball. First. Lower the lights and the music volume. Sunday night should be cozy. Second correct the Woodwork wine appellation on menu. Entrees. Spaghetti with meatball authentic. Pizza con funghi very authentic. All in all very good. Local public needs to know there is an alternative to Cliff house and Stuft Pizza. This place is very good!!!
