Authentic and GOOD! This is pizza for grown ups. Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommended on my part. Enoteca is Italian for WINE, so have a glass or two! The dining area is small, so call ahead for groups larger than 4. Indiana… Go eat this pie!!!

Having been a big fan of Nap’s I was excited to try its sister restaurant. Josephine’s brings pizza to a different level. The atmosphere is certainly swanky. The hardwood floors, tin ceiling and overall rustic chic theme makes you forget you’re in Indiana, PA. We started with the seafood salad, which they also serve at Nap’s and is as delectable as I remember. Our pizzas were perfectly thin and crispy. The mozzarella was fresh and the prosciutto was thin and salty. You’re not going to find the standard pizza flavors here like so many of the places in Indiana. Here you can indulge in fine smoked meats such as mortadella and speck. You can even order a pizza sorpresa, which allows the chef to surprise you. All they had for dessert was gelato so that was kind of disappointing but the cappuccino did not let me down. It was perfectly frothy and flavorful, thanks to the monstrous espresso machine they have. Our waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgable of the menu. It didn’t hurt that we were the only people dining for lunch. It was a Saturday so I was kind of surprised it wasn’t more crowded but this place is pretty new. Anyways this is another breath of fresh air for Indiana and I will surely bring my friends back to eat at this cool enoteca(that’s Italian for cute not-too-expensive eatery)

Just walked in off the street. As of August, 2015 this is a new restaurant specializing in gourmet pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. Our waiter was new, but he was familiar enough with the menu to offer guidance, and very attentive. We started out with drinks and the basic house salads – lettuce and greens, onions, a tasty and subtle house dressing topped with Gorgonzola cheese. Delicious. We split the sausage special, which was fantastic – the crust had a great texture and was properly cooked, crispy on the bottom, just a hint of char, with just a little softness inside. The toppings were top shelf – delightful sausage, sweetish onions with just a little bite left to theme, and fresh cheese – not fresh, packaged cheese but seriously fresh cheeses. With the salads, and a beer, the pizza – maybe about 14″ – was substantial enough to serve two, and the prices were very reasonable. Indiana has a lot of pizza choices, but nothing like this – a top notch restaurant with a real pizza oven and a cook who clearly knows what he’s doing. I can’t wait to get back and sample more of the menu.
