Pita Pit is a very nice facility and is quick with their service. However, upon going to eat my pita, I discovered a long black hair in my pita. I couldn’t eat the rest of my pita because I was so grossed out. This facility needs to require hair nets for their employees, because this is absolutely unacceptable. I will not be coming back here.

YAY! They have new management! i was soooo upset with the previous management, i stopped going. they put some awesome coupons in the campus special coupon packet this year so i decided to go back in… and what a change! being a vegan it’s incredibly hard to find good vegan food in such a small town, but they are back and better then ever! the only issue is that their hours suck now. but with online ordering and prompt, courteous service, I’m happy with this place once again!

She asked me if I really wanted jalapeños bc they were really hot… Lol. Food was alright. Probably won’t go back unless a guy with a gun makes me.

Pita Pit was closed for a time over the summer of 2009, and it didn’t look like it was coming back. Well, it’s back now, and just as good as it was before. They offer one key product, and they do it pretty well. The dine-in area is completely tile and hard surfaces, making it nearly impossible to hear anyone in your party because of the blaring music and echo of anyone in the room. You might want to get this delivered or for take-out.

«Fresh thinking, healthy eating,» is their slogan. They make pita sandwiches while you watch. They have a wide selections of pitas to choose from including tuna, turkey, Philly steak, gyro, and souvalki. There are a number of vegetarian pitas such as hummus, falafel, and babaganoush. They also serve salads and breakfast pitas. The food is great, the ingredients taste fresh, and they will alter the pitas to suit your tastes. They also usually have specials that include drinks or chips or cookies. They serve Coke products and also have a selection of Vitamin Waters on hand. They are open late on weekends so they make a great place to stop for a bite after the bars have all closed. But watch out for the lunch rush when college is in session!
