I’m sorry but I don’t get all of the five star ratings.
I was visiting family from out of town and went here based on the Unilocal reviews to pick up some good beers for the holidays. Yes they have a good selection of craft beers but not overwhelming. Their «pick a six pack» selection was terrible. This was disappointing as I was hoping to try a number of different beers. And the beer cave basically had only cases of Bud/​Miller/​Coors. Maybe it had already been picked over but it didn’t look like it. I don’t get the love for this. I guess if you are lucky enough to be there for a beer tasting it’s probably a lot more interesting and fun. The prices seemed okay although they were having a sale so it’s hard for me to judge. I will say the people working were very friendly and the store was clean. I didn’t look at wines or liquors but the selection seemed decent.
Again to be clear, this is a good store with a good selection of beers. But based on the reviews I was expecting to be wowed, and it missed that mark.

I’ve been coming here for a while, i haven’t ever asked for any help or suggestions but the staff here is always cheerful, nice, well dressed and fast. The selection here is small but good. They have a small selection of craft beers, most of the cheap beers on the market, and an average selection of wine (if your looking for a hard to find wine or something very specific you may want to try the Illinios location) but overall if they have a decent selection. As far as liquor goes again they have a pretty average selection but also have some great scotch and irish whiskey selections. Its not a big super store but is consistent, local and have good prices.

I guess next time I amble into this liquor store I should have my camera ready, because, well, every time it’s something amazing; like «oh hey yeah… Eric’s over there… you can catch the tail end of the VIP beer tasting.» Indeed we can! And here we have a casual get together of beer tasting beer-​ers (first usage?) Yes, I, too, am a beer-​er. So is my pahtner!
What we thought was going to be a quick dive into the beer cave (for those that haven’t found out… it’s really a beer cave, with a sign that says «beer cave,» that is a separate cave part of the store.); instead, we stayed for a good 30 minutes learning and sipping beers never beer-​ed before.
Community. Friendship. Knowledge. Beer. These are the values of Eric & Co. at this store. I’d say you should make your way in.

This is the best liquor store in Indy, no question.
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. They know the «latest and the greatest» and listen to requests from their patrons. Eric and Mike are our favorites; ask for them, and you won’t be disappointed with the service. We mentioned a specific brewery months ago, and within one month’s time, they had exactly what we were looking for — you can’t ask for better customer service than that.
Love this place, really. We go out of our way for them. It’s worth it.
