I thought I had done my homework and chosen the best fit for our needs and budget. When first signing on with Att uverse the customer service reps were friendly and helpful. The first bill I received was for a bit more than I had originally been quoted and the service has been downhill ever since. Every month there is some kind of billing issue. Every time I have spoken to a rep to resolve the issue they spend more time trying to up sell a service or skirt the issue than actually trying to resolve it. Very frustrating trying to deal with this company, my time is to valuable to spend countless hours on the phone and endless chat time online over the last 10 months trying to resolve recurring issues with customer service that never follows thru on what they promise. I have better ways to spend my time and places to spend my money ! The last straw was spending 20 minutes on the phone trying to pay a bill and they wanted to charge me $ 5 bucks to take my money !!! I will be taking my $ 150 a month elsewhere thank you very much.

A couple years ago I contacted AT&T to indicate my speed was too slow for streaming. A very nice lady reviewed my account and said she could increase my internet speed and lower my monthly bill by changing me over to U-verse. Done and done for a year. She failed to tell me it was a promotion and at the end of the year my monthly bill jumped up to over $ 30 more than my original AT&T monthly bills. When I called to complain another representative tried to get me agree to another 1 year promotion to lower my monthly bill!!! Service is just ok — had to replace their modem shortly after upgrade and have to reboot current modem a few times a month. Speed is slightly better but still have occasional issues with downloading certain streaming programs. Recommend: no.

Well, Internet goes down almost every day still. It’s nothing to do with distance. My landlord lives further down the road and gets the same speeds without the issues. Also, the routers/modems are subject to interference. All of my bulbs were replaced by me and it did get a little better. I use led bulbs instead of clf bulbs now. The internet isn’t fine. Heat or not. They just are too cheap to fix it. The techs complain too much. Don’t get this internet unless you have no other options! 4g lte and Satellite Internet are bad options too!

Absolutely the worst service. The reps are constantly trying to sell you additional service even after request to stop. They are extremely aggressive and also will lie in order to get you to sign up for new services or keep you from cancelling the account. With my last call, I tried to change the service bundle and they were giving me such hard time about it trying to discourage me, lying, and trying to sell me additional services inspite of my request to stop, I decided to just cancel the service altogether and go to another provider. These guys are absolute the worst.

AT&T has the worst internet services. Rude customer service as well. With no contract they still charge you for early termination even tho they stated no contract. Their service sucks and i never will be att customer again. There is many companies with better services and customer satisfaction. I was paying for Internet that I couldn’t load nothing and when called cancel it they charged me for early termination and they told me I have no contract.

No way this service should get even one star! Daily service crash, & an average of 1 phone call a week to their horrible customer service line per week with no solution to the problems. Is this really what a world wide telecommunications company(who use to monopolize the industry) functions like?

I’m now living in Indianapolis If you’re considering subscribing to AT&T U-verse, DON’T DOIT. Here’s my weekend: Signal goes out yesterday. Called service # and can’t fix it remotely, sending someone out. Guy arrives and says there’s no signal to the house, so going to check outside. I look out later and he’s gone. More than 2 hours later, still no word, so call the number he called me from to confirm. Got voice mail. He never returned my call. Called the general service number. We need an «outside» technician. He was an «inside» technician. One will be out by 11:00 the next morning. We’re a priority.(Not sure how we were supposed to know all that.) The next day(today) gets to be 2:00 and no technician, so call the general number again. Oops! They’re backed up and won’t be out today.(Again, I guess we were supposed to guess this.) Not enough technicians and all backed up. I asked to speak to the scheduler because we’re supposed to be a «priority.» Well, the scheduler for my area(or any area) doesn’t talk to customers.(Easy to understand why!) So, no promises, but a technician MAY be out tomorrow, but he won’t need to communicate with us, so watch the light on our modem to see when the signal is back up.(I’m NOT kidding. That’s what she said.) This isn’t just about TV. I work from home and need my internet connection. I’ve got a lot of work due Monday morning so I’m using my Verizon hot spot to the tune of $ 20 extra dollars in data charges — so far. I’m trying real hard to remember why we left Dish network!

uverse tv is good for a couple at best. they limit it to 4 views at any one time. so many a times I would turn it on and since the 2 others had 2 things recording. i could not watch live tv. So if you order and more then 2 in your family. look elsewhere.
