Big Lots entry here is always organized and well stocked. While some items may be lesser quality, Lots receives numerous close out and overstocked items from larger chains.
They then sell it to us at a reduced price. This is a big score on furniture. Sure, some of the items may be last years models, but with furniture who cares. Always check with Big Lots for mid range priced furniture first. The sales can save you money you can spend elsewhere.
Even some food items are a great deal here. Bear Creek soup mix comes to mind. It’s a great starting point to add your own twist.

It’s a standard Big Lots. They specialize in «close-​outs», stuff that didn’t sell elsewhere. Plus a lot of cheap junk. Aside from the normal «cheap junk» that they carry, the close-​outs rotate frequently, so if you’re looking for deals, you need to go every 1 or 2 weeks, and if you find some close-​out that you like, go back and buy a lot of it, because it won’t be there long.
Very clean compared to other Big Lots I’ve been to. Aisles are spaced appropriately and not too close together.
Located across the street from Washington Square Mall, one stop light east of Mitthoeffer.
