I love this place! Food is always good & you can’t do without the blood orange lemonade. But service today was very slow & rude.

I love the food and the service is great, but it is so loud and they won’t turn it down. It is very annoying and I will not be eating in unless this changes.

Good pizza with lots of options. Music was crazy loud and you couldn’t even hear the person talking next to you. I would not go back except to order my pizza to go.

This place is fast food chain version of brick oven pizza. I really like how generous they are with toppings since i like my pizza with lots of flavor! The dough is thin, crispy on the outside but chewy when you bite into it.

So tasty! I attend the location in Carmel(12697 N. Pennsylvania St). The service is fast and friendly. The IUPUI location is a bit of a gamble in terms of customer service. However each time the pizza does not fail to satisfy.

Blaze pizza is one of my favorite spots in Indy. As soon as you enter the restaurant, your nose is greeted by the pleasant smell of various pizzas roasting in the brick oven. The location is a decent size, but it gets extremely crowded during the lunch rush — be prepared to wait and stand for a while. I really love the«build your own pizza» option. It allows for customers to design their own speciality pizzas and ensures appetite needs are met. If you’re downtown, I highly recommend Blaze pizza!

One of the things I did not think I would have again when I turned Vegan was pizza. I did not even consider for a moment back then that there were ever going to be places that offered VEGAN cheese? But Blaze does. Their crust and both regular and spicy sauces are also vegan. With as many different veggie options as Blaze offers this is by far the most awesome place to eat pizza if you are plant based. And if you are not vegan or plant based this place offers SOO many options it can easily spin your head. The first time I came here I hesitated on everything… I was skeptical and even sort of hard to convince that this place would offer me anything at all. But as i came through the line and the lovely young lady behind the counter started talking to me, telling me what the experience will be like and even asking if I have been there before. I felt at ease. All my questions about ingredients were answered and when i saw the beautiful little cube of loveliness marked«Vegan cheese» I knew I had hit a jackpot. I ended up ordering a «Build your own» pizza which costs just $ 7.45. It was so fun and easy to go through and pick out delicious toppings. First the sauce. spicy red, then the cheese. vegan, thank you very much, and then the toppings. SO many to choose from. I ordered banana peppers, tomatoes, green bell peppers, white onions, black olives, artichokes and broccoli. It cooked in a huge oven for a few minutes and came out absolutely perfect and so delicious I thought it was a joke!!! Never had I enjoyed a pizza more and for such a low price and high entertainment value as this. The blood orange lemonade is very good! Since then we have gone back several times and I have only been disappointed one time because they ran out of vegan cheese. I ordered my pizza cheese free and it was STILL delicious! Later on I found out that they have an app and that each time we buy pizza we can scan our phone as a «check in» and get something called a «Blaze». When you get to 10 of these puppies YOU get a freeeee pizza. WHAT??? :D Free is a good word. I can not really explain just how exciting this place makes me. I even found a calculator for the pizza and found out that my pizza is approximately 110 calories per slice, compared to my partners choices coming in at 240 calories a slice with mozzarella, parmesan, sausage and bacon. Over all this place is awesome. Takes us about 20 minutes to get here from our home on the east side, but delicious treats are sometimes worth some time in the car. The food is fabulous and quick. The service is, for the most part, excellent. The only downside is that SOMETIMES the music is wayyyy too loud in the afternoons and you cant carry on a conversation because of it. Hardly annoying enough to warrant taking off any stars in this review though. GO there. Eat the pizza, pay 8 bucks!!! AWESOME! Thanks for your time and consideration.

This used to be one of my favorite pizza spots until yesterday. The cleanliness standard of the place has gone down hill unfortunately. I used the rest room prior to eating and looked like it wasn’t serviced in days and was disgusting. After ordering my pizza although it was decent there was not one clean table. The staff was yucking it up while folding pizza boxes and not one of them cleaning any of the tables for the patrons. Keep in mind there were pizza boxes stacked to ceiling. The visit was at 3:15 yesterday. I hope this was a one time thing but I fear management isn’t as active as it needs to be.

Came after a Pacer game, and it was my first time trying it. The pizza was AMAZING, service was terrible. But the pizza was AMAZING. So good I didn’t punch one angry employee in the throat. It made up for every ounce of petty he dished out! Yummmmmmm

Loved this place! It is a picky eater’s dream come true. I had five different cheeses on my pizza as well as sautéed onions, mushrooms, and pineapple. Mmmmmmm. My only complaint was that the middle was mushy. Almost as though it didn’t get quite done. This was probably the result of the extreme amount of cheese I had on there. It’s amazing how quickly they can make and cook a pizza. We also had a Smores pie for dessert. It was okay. I think they could do better with that.

I ordered pizza on line today for the first time from this place. I had heard mixed reviews but decided to give it a chance. When I arrived and gave my name, the music was so loud that the young guy behind the counter had to ask me to repeat and I yelled my name. He went a got a pizza to put in the oven and said some name of a pizza. I told him I had a build your own. He began to recite all the toppings in a very aggravated tone. I said the pizza was mine. I told him I was a new customer and wasn’t used to the process there. He said nothing in response. I guess they don’t need to make new customers feel welcome. While I waited for my pizza to cook, three young guys stood around talking about someone being asked to «give themselves up.» I don’t know what all the drama was that they were discussing but the tables were FILTHY and soft drink area with spills needing cleaned up. I got home and looked at the pizza. While you can have unlimited toppings, it seemed that they greatly restrict the amount of each topping. I counted seven peppers on my entire pizza. The crust seemed soggy and not crisp as I would expect. The dough was evident as I chewed the pizza indicating that it was not done as other reviewers have commented. I left the store without a thanks for coming or any other greeting. The guys were too busy carrying on their personal conversation to appreciate those who pay their salary. I would not recommend this place even though I am in the minority. I can’t help but think many, many others are so disappointed that they don’t even bother to review this place.

Custom-made pizza assembled in line and then fired in a brick oven in just a few minutes?! Yes please! Think Subway but for pizzas. You pick your sauce, your cheese(s), and your toppings. They have a menu of various recommended combinations, but you can also create your own. We both create our own! My favorite: Classic sauce, mozzarella and ricotta cheeses, ham, bacon, mushrooms, and a dash of sea salt and oregano. The hubs: Classic sauce, vegan cheese(yes, VEGAN), and various veggie options finished off with some olive oil post-baking. It’s really tasty and a great fast option for a meal! Yes, there are other pizza places that offer a similar assembly-line created pizza in just a few minutes, like PieFive, but we MUCH prefer Blaze! Vegan cheese as an option is a huge plus, but a brick oven makes the huge difference! We highly recommend it. So give it a shot, and expect a little under $ 10/person for your pizza plus a drink!

I ordered online earlier today to pick up a special Valentines Day treat for my in-laws and niece. When I got to the store, the girl behind the counter seemingly knew it was me(which was a little creepy-but nice) and got our pizzas ready to be fired. When I double checked that two of the pies were cheese-free, which I had made sure to note online, she discovered that one had cheese. It was quickly remade and the pie came out with all the rest. My only issue with Blaze is if you get carry-out the pies are a little cold when you do get them to your destination. I’m wondering if it would be possible to have it almost all fired and then finish it when you get home? I’m no pizza maker, but it may make it 5 stars. Overall, the quality and the price are pretty fantastic. And it’s great to have a place that can accommodate lactose allergies. I am one happy repeat customer.

Count me in as a Blaze believer. I live right down the street and I’m ashamed it took me so long to get here. The concept is great — if you’ve read any reviews you know by now its like a Qdoba/Subway of personal pizzas. Other reviews are absolutely correct when they say the build you own is the best bang for your buck. You get unlimited toppings and pay the same price as the signature pizzas. I generally order the Green Stripe but the White Top is good as well. I also really like the Blood Orange Lemonade. For around $ 10 for a filling meal and a drink, I’m not going to complain about the price. My one complaint, however, is about the process. I have never felt they’ve had enough workers on the line during the lunch rush and have had significant wait times to make my pie. Never have had to wait long for it to cook and get through the cashier line, but do recommend they work on their staffing towards the beginning of the process. And, just an FYI, I rank pizza places similar to this around Indy as follows: Project Pie, Blaze, Pie Five.

Blaze is a build-your-own pizza chain that offers both regular and gluten free crust. They make many efforts to avoid cross contamination, that was the first thing I noticed when ordering my food. The toppings are laid out in a fashion similar to Subway or Chipotle, with many different sauce and cheese options too! I wasnt terribly impressed with the gluten free crust, but the control they give you over your own toppings is worth overlooking that. Be aware that this place gets totally nuts around lunch time, and the plaza its in has pretty hectic parking.

My favorite Blaze pizza is the signature Red Vine, which comes with red sauce, fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil, and olive oil drizzle… with added roasted garlic cloves, of course. The Red Vine is fresh and bright tasting, and not overloaded with non-essential toppings. Blaze tends to get very busy during the weekday lunch hour, with IUPUI and hospital employees/students crammed into the space. I recommend visiting before 11:30AM or after 1PM, if you don’t want to feel rushed or get death-glares for occupying a table too long. Blaze’s staff has always been friendly and courteous with me. I’ve never received slow or rude service. There have been times an ingredient has been out, but the staff is typically ready to offer a sub recommendation. Although it is fast casual, the pizza oven does take a little longer than expected(especially when the pizza paddle person has 10 – 15 pizzas to navigate). I don’t mind the wait; it gives me time to scope out a seat and gather a shaker of cracked red pepper. The prices are very reasonable, for the size and quality of pie that you receive. Don’t fool yourself into thinking Blaze is any healthier than other pizza locations; the ingredients may be more diverse, fresh, and free to add on, but the nutritional value is fairly similar to a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.

Their pizza is still delicious, but boy oh boy do I hate coming here. They’ve been open for over a year now and the place is still as slow as ever. And it’s not time spent waiting for the pizza to come out of the oven — it’s the four people working the line that can’t get toppings on in a timely fashion! If I can place an online order at Papa Johns and pick it up fifteen minutes later, then why does it take me twice as long to get through a line of eight people? The workers just have no sense of urgency. I mentioned it in my previous review, hoping it was just because the place was still pretty new, but it still holds true today. Like I said, their pizza is delicious, but if my wife didn’t love coming here so much I’d never be back for lunch. Or probably dinner.

Fast-fired pizza served quick and delicious. You get exactly the toppings you want, per your request for about $ 8 with tax. You can’t beat that. All ingredients are fresh and on display in front of you! I usually visit in the evenings, but went in on my lunch break one day. The line was out the door, all seats were taken and it was louder than usual. But that’s what I would expect for any of the restaurants that close to IUPUI and Ezkenazi to be so I don’t hold it against them. There is free wifi and I was able to work while I waited. As for the pizza itself, it was fabulous. I would like a little more sauce, but no other complaints. I love the blood orange lemonade. It’s just the right balance of sweet and sour. Plus, if you dine in, free refills!!!

I’m all about the Red Vine! If you enjoy thin crust pizza, and the«subway» concept, Blaze is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite, especially for lunch because the pizza’s baked in like, 2 minutes. They have a lot of specialty options but have MANY more toppings you can add to your pie, like three kinds of olives and pesto drizzle. One thing I haven’t tried but several of my friends have: the s’more cookie — baked right in front of you, same as the pizza! MMMmmm

I am still reeling form the fact that I got a personalized pizza with loads of stuff on it for 7.25 $+ tax, made to order, 5 – 10 minutes from walking in the door to walking out with a pizza… wow… and even more surprising, it’s good, really good … and filling. Somebody wrote in their review that it is 7 inches, but I believe it’s actually 11 inches.
