Shop was clean and the units were brand new, just had a scratch on the side that would be against my wall anyway, so at half off it was a great deal. Nice experience.

Here’s a real review from a real person. Don’t go here unless you are desperate. First, the fowl stench of this place is pretty powerful. If you have asthma, you might meet an untimely demise staying here. I mean seriously, what retailer allows smoking in their store anymore? What is this? 1975??? And how is the scattered random «display» of the very used, very beat up, and (some) ancient appliances selling for three times what they should be for the condition going to inspire me to buy? Unilocal is for keeping you away from those businesses who perpetuate the image you conjure up when you think local business and picture an obese balding guy selling you a piece of junk. Don’t go here and you’ll never worry about it.

Shop local, boys and girls. The big box stores are more expensive and less willing to please than local business who have the will to survive. I remembered my first contact with BRAS&S about ten years ago, and repeated that happy experience last week when I needed a new dryer. They had one which was the same brand and an (almost) match for the washer I bought those many years ago.
