I left my jacket(with my wallet in it) here a couple weekends back and either someone turned it in, or they found it and held onto it, but either or that was cool. So right on for that! If you have ever lost a jacket in ripple call brothers, they have this room with a shit ton of them hanging in this wall in the back.

Brother not from my mother. What gives with the popularity of this place? Seeing these in Muncie, Indy, and Broad Ripple there must be something to attribute their popularity. Having their drink specials on a Saturday night, I was simply disappointed with the service, the scene, and the way this place made me feel. Our server was TERRIBLE at explaining what was in each drink which made me not want to drink it. The people begged us to dance to an awesome DJ, just to find out that everyone needed an excuse to feel home and to have fun. Shouldn’t the bar encourage a good time and a camaraderie? I’d think so, but maybe not. Check out somewhere else, especially if you’re in Broad Ripple(Rock Lobster is a good alternative for social, and Kilroy’s for Sports).

The waitress was awesome, she was very busy but kept in coming by to check on us. The food was good, had the queso chicken wrap mmmmgoood. Music was good, got really packed on the dance floor which is a plus. It was a very diverse crowd and people were very welcoming. I’ll definitely visit this place again.

Place where your drink on and grab some quick grub. Think cooler version of Fridays. If this was next to one of the colleges here I’d say it was a college bar.

a huge place with not horrible food, mostly everything you’d want to drink, and open air on nice days, but something is lacking. large square bar in the middle with high top tables surrounding it. outdoor seating to the west and pool tables in the southeast corner. a typical broad ripple bar on thursday/friday/saturday nights. decent place to stop in the afternoon of a nice day when the windows are open.

I’ve never been a big fan of the Broad Ripple scene. I grew out of it at 22(I’m now 24) although I do occasionally miss the general weekend debauchery if I want some food, beer and a sports bar feel, I’m usually all for a local dive bar. It’s much easier. However, I found myself in the mood for Team Bingo so dragged some people out to Brothers. Keeping it mind it was a slow Tuesday, I was surprised at how roomy it felt. I actually really liked it. I didn’t get any food but it looked good; no doubt typical greasy pub food with little complexity or real surprises. What I was really happy about were the drink prices(and selection). I had $ 2 beers all night. Service could’ve been better but I’ll cut our guy some slack because he was running around like crazy and appeared to be the only one. If you’re looking for a few drinks on a budget and something to do, I highly recommend Team Bingo(or maybe Trivia) and taking advantage of the specials. Or you can just go to people watch. It’s not worth a long drive out of your way but if you’re in the neighborhood, stop in, you’ll have a good time.(Disclosure: definitely be prepared for the annoying college kids. It’s inevitable.)

Sisters, Brothers, Everyone is welcome! Brothers is alright with me. It’s in a prime location in Broad Ripple, directly across from Kilroy’s and Lava. This bar is truly a bar, complete with wood seats and sticky floors. The open, garage style windows are a nice touch. I went on a Thursday evening, and they had $ 2 Jack Daniels, which will always be a winner in my book. The food was less than great, which is why I can’t give a higher rating. You can tell that food is not the priority in this spot, and rightfully so. I imagine people come more for the drinks and a good time than for a stellar culinary experience. Still, For $ 10 nachos, I expect to be satisfied. I certainly recommend Brother’s Bar & Grill, just eat before you come.

Had lunch here yesterday, our first visit. And it was so good. It was a tad pricey,($ 8-$ 13 a plate) appetizers were just as expensive. The menu is huge. It took us a while to figure out what we wanted. The server, I think got a bit frustrated with us. After his third stop by he asked offered to help us pick. Going to a new place with a big menu can be overwhelming, when your goal is to get something good. There was no one else in the place, but I think Monday’s are slow for the town as a whole. We(a friend and I) loved the meal and can’t wait to go back. I had the burger with bbq pulled pork and bacon on it(forget what it’s called) and sweet potato tots. Friend had an ultimate BLT with their house chips.

We only go here because they have pool tables, which aren’t level and the last time we played our cue ball had a chip in it. The table was so messed up that the ball would completely change trajectory mid-course, making it very hard to pocket shots. Also, their beer always tastes skunky, as if the taps have never been cleaned. I suggest only ordering beer, though, because their mixed drinks have virtually no liquor in them. At least with a beer you can tell you’re getting the alcohol you paid for. Although last time we were there my fiancé felt his beer had been diluted. They have good specials, so it’s great for people who don’t care what their $ 10 pitcher of beer tastes like.

Good, classic, easy-going, clean, friendly bar. What more can be said? Too clean for a dive bar, too many college kids to be a lounge, numerous sports programming on all the time. Love it! Great place to kick back after work.

Now that Kilroys has lured all the douchebags away from Brothers, I go here now and then for their $ 2 pint night due to their large tap list. The quality of that special, however, has rapidly deteriorated. First of all, I’m not sure how often they clean their tap lines, if ever. I had a Boston Lager on 2 different visits that was just plain disgusting, and I’m usually a big fan. I also had a rialsplitter that was not only gross, but flat. They also recently made the decision to exclude indiana beers from pint night, because apparently they hate us and freedom. On top of that, I’ve been a few times where their beer supply is absolutely wiped out. I’m talking over 50% of their selection being unavailable, despite them not being busy. When that happened, I decided to get a mixed drink. That was also a mistake, because their mixed drinks are among the weakest I’ve ever had. Also, their service is downright atrocious. Bad, apathetic service seems to be the norm here. I even saw a waitress’s…lady bit… flop out once, and was still disappointed in the slow, awful service. I will say that the food is pretty OK. They have great food specials, and the gator balls are fantastic. Still… this place sucks.

Love this place. Great food, great service.(The pretzel app did turn hard quickly). One disclaimer is that its VERYLOUD. Not a big negative for fans, but NOT a place for conversation.

Stopped here while bar hopping in Indianapolis. We stayed here for two drinks. I must say the bartender was great! I ordered a cherry bomb & a bazooka joe’s. Both drinks were great. It was a bit empty in here but I here it has certain nights where it’s busy. I guess our night coming thru wasn’t one of them lol. I didn’t try any food here but the drinks were good and well priced & the bartender was nice & have great service. I. wanna give this a 3.5’but that’s not an option so I’ll bump it to a 4. When I’m in Indy again, I’ll definitely give it another visit and get food as well. I feel like food has to be reviewed.

Ended up here late one night with some friends after bar-hopping in Broad Ripple. This bar is just the way I like ‘em – casual, roomy, a little divey but not dirty, and completely unpretentious. And they have pool tables, which is way more fun IMO than just sitting at a table sipping on drinks all night. There seems to be a different drink special each day of the week, and I think one of those is wings, although I can’t remember which night. As for the other reviews mentioning poor service, I can’t really speak to that as we went to the bar for all of our drinks(of our own volition, not because we were forced to). Bartender was always quick to see us and friendly when we needed a refill. Was it loud? Yes, but then, it’s a bar in a popular area. If you want quiet, go find a wine bar or have cocktails at somewhere more upscale.

The boyfriend and I have only been there a few times for late a lunch on the weekends. We like to sit next to the open window(sliding doors? they are freakin huge windows) and people watch while we eat and drink some beers. So far we’ve tried all of the wraps(BBQ Chicken wrap is very tasty) except for the Queso chicken(next on my list), chili fries and the Californian burger. It’s an ok-burger, but extremely messy to eat and the pico de gallo makes the burger bun mushy after a while. We’ve never had a problem with service the few times we’ve been there. And it’s probably because we are there during the non-busy times. Based on the other reviews, I would definitely steer away from coming here during party hours.

Brother’s is your run-of-the-mill college and twenty-somethings bar on the weekends and I do not much care for that scene anymore. I just want a table and accessible drink ordering with probably some mozz sticks, is that so much to ask? We have met some friends there a few times and it’s always so crowed, music is too loud, and the drinks take forever plus they are too expensive per the alcohol ratio. I’m only 25 and I can’t even handle how nutso it is! Once we went on a night where is was not busy and that was a little bit more enjoyable. We were at a pool table in the back but it was still slow service.

A lot has changed since my last visit which was at least a couple years ago… and not for the better. Is this still a sports bar? Lots of flat screen TVs which isn’t unexpected for a sports bar, but nearly all played videos of a neon backdrop with a black shadowy figure dancing while other music blaring throughout the bar were accompanied by the actual music video(like the ones MTV used to play back in the day). I can now say I’ve seen the videos to 2 Chainz — Birthday Song, Miley Cyrus dancing with her arms up, and multiple with David Guetta. If you’re looking for an escape from basketball games during March Madness, you’ll find refuge here. For a Sat. night, there wasn’t much of a crowd. However, it was an unusually long wait, maybe 30 minutes, before a sever popped up to take our drink order. Nice server, but it was a disservice to get a glass of diet Coke when I ordered rum & diet. Oh, I should know better than to order a mixed drink here. Overall, very confusing vibe here. Several tables to sit at but what’s the point of tables when the music is blaring so loud you can’t even hear yourself talk, let alone person sitting next to you. May as well clear out the tables, hang up some strobe lights, and call it a dance club. I vow to never return. Decided I’m too old for bad drinks and deafening music.

This place from the outside looks cool but their customers tend to be very rude. I went there with a friend and had a few drinks. I thought its was unusual that we were not served(or spoke to) by their staff for 20minutes. It was somewhat empty so I really did not understand untill we decided to play some pool. The girl I was with asked if we could use the table. One of their«regulars» told her«you don’t belong here nigger». We decided to tell the staff instead of making a scene. They proceeded to not only kick us out but as we were leaving we saw their staff high five the girl who said it. This place looks nice but I will never go there again. The best thing about this place is you don’t have to go there.

Not my cup of tea. Ambiance, 1 out of 5. Loud, rowdy, typical college bar but I understand that is what they are going for. Service, 1 out of 5. Server messed up our entire order and charged us for extra drinks. I am a server myself and make mistakes so we simply wanted the manager to fix it for us but the manager was extremely rude and told us we were cheap for not being willing to pay for the drinks we did not even order. Food, 2 out of 5. Food was average bar food and not too expensive, just very slow which I anticipated at a packed bar like this one. I think it is an okay place to catch a game but I will not go back. meh i’ll give it 2 stars because of the ridiculous amount of people that pack the place, they have to deal with a lot and I understand we have our bad nights in the bar/restaurant industry
