Did not know what to expect with this new place at the Castleton Mall. I love boba tea and was honestly shocked to see this kind of establishment there. I’ve had good and bad bubble tea and this was definitely worth the 4 dollars.

Drove all the way from Columbus, IN! Being from Chicago it’s hard to find decent boba/​bubble tea in Indiana. Chatime is the BEST I’ve had in Indiana! So good I got two for the drive home! super friend staff! I’ll defiantly be coming back.

Best boba in Indy!!! Love the milk teas and green teas! So refreshing after walking around in the mall all day! Definitely will be bringing friends here.

I’ve been wanting to try this!!! Saw this cute boba joint in Florida and Canada… And now here… In Indianapolis?!? Okay! I must try it this time! It is located in front of Hollister (near Macy’s entrance). The menu had a lot of options to choose from… milk tea to fruit tea to smoothies! I ordered the jasmine green tea milk tea. $ 3 for a regular size which is not bad at all! Extra $ 0.50 to add on different types of jelly or boba. Also, I read some other reviews how they don’t mix the powder too well… but I got lucky! It was delicious:). I’ll definitely try another one if I’m ever in the area.

I did not have high hopes for this place to be honest.
I am extremely picky about boba and milk tea, I actually make some at home sometimes. Also I saw they were sealed on top when you got them, and all the workers at the counter area were scowling, which made me think that I probably wouldn’t get good service.
I looked at the extensive menu for a few minutes, until I settled on a hazelnut milk tea. It’s one of my favorites and I figured it would be a good representation of how good the other drinks would be. Of course, I ordered it as a bubble milk tea with light ice.
As soon as I was interacting with them, the workers were very friendly. I felt bad for thinking they would be rude. They seem pretty knowledgeable about the menu and answered a few questions while I waited for my drink.
When I stuck my straw in and took the first sip it was heaven! Definitely should have ordered a large. The boba were just the right size and a good spongey texture and not too hard. I think I will ask for less sugar because it was a little overly sweet, but that’s a preference.
I will definitely stop here instead of the awful mall Starbucks from now on!

The more times I’ve come as it has gotten busier, I agree with the other reviews about the powder not being mixed enough. The regular tea drinks are very good but I got the taro milk and it’s SO powdery it’s almost undrinkable; I had to take off a star because of that. The employees definitely need to spend more time thoroughly mixing the drinks.

The staff is so nice and the location is perfect. But I’m not a big fan of their drinks. They’re too sweet in my opinion.

Best Bubble tea in Indy. Check out their Chat time milk tea with pearl (boba) and coconut jelly. Its traditional and yummy. I am so excited finding a new place whenever I am craving for milk tea. Staffs are friendly. Definitely highly recommend.
You can customize your sugar preference but I love how it is. I come here 4 times/​week. Addicted already

I was super excited to see a bubble tea place open up, especially in my favorite mall! They had a great selection of teas and bubbles to choose form. I ordered my favorite, the taro milk tea — but I was quite disappointed. I don’t know if they just didn’t completely mix the tea, because there were chunks of the powder stuff that just tasted awful. I should’ve tried it before walking away and requested a new one, but I was in a hurry to get home and beat the traffic.
There were a few people ahead of me when I ordered, but although they had maybe 4 – 5 employees it took them a really long time to make the drinks. There are also not many descriptions of the different types of drinks on the menu, so a lot of people who haven’t had it before had to keep asking questions for what everything was.
Overall, I’d definitely give them a second chance and hopefully it will be better than my first experience — but if they don’t keep up the quality control, I don’t think they’ll last very long.

Hands down the best boba shop in Indianapolis, and it’s sitting inside Castleton mall in front of Macy’s. Drinks are as good as can be, being that this is a boba franchise from overseas. Since they were running a special on opening weekend to upsize the cups for free, my girlfriend and I took the liberty of buying 12 bubble teas from them and stocking them in our fridge. Will be back for sure!

It’s really exciting having a legit bubble tea place in indy. They picked a great location right in the heart of Castleton mall, right next to Starbucks. It’s a about time they had a little competition. The menu is typical of a specialty bubble tea place with an assortment of milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies and add ons such as pearls and different types of jellys. I’d suggest you come with an open mind and try different combos that you had never thought of before! A regular size is quite big and large is definitely enough to share for two. I don’t like my drinks too sweet and this place can cater to you sweetness levels. I ordered a jasmine green milk tea with 50% sugar and it was just the right level of sweetness for me. While the drink itself was pretty milky looking and tasting, I could recognize the base of jasmine green tea in there. Next time I’m going for one of the fruit teas!
Be warned their service isn’t the most efficient yet — there were 7 people working that little booth when I went, yet the drinks still came out pretty slowly. They’re definitely gonna need to boost that up once more people join in on the bubble tea movement at Castleton!

Really good! This is the first legit bubble tea place in indianapolis! Ive tried 3 different milk teas here and they’ve all been great. Original is still the best though. They also have great slushies and smoothies for those who don’t like tea. I tried the passionfruit slush and it was delicious. They also have a lot of different toppings like custard/​pudding, lychee jelly, boba, herbal jelly. You can also customize and get it with less or more sugar depending on your taste. Next time I am looking forward to trying their mousse selection of drinks!

Sooooo good! I’m so glad that there is an ACTUAL boba tea place in Indiana. Definitely make the drive here just for the tea! The Jasmine Green Milk Tea was bombbb!

Looks like 5bucks has a new neighbor 2 doors down. Whenever I need an afternoon pick me up, I’ll stop by here since anytime is Cha (tea) Time.
Well today was their official grand opening. I can see 75% Asians (me and the boyfriend contributing 2%) using social media/​texts/​calls spreading the word about this place. The mall cop had to herd the line over from blocking the regular shoppers.
Today was their official grand opening and they had a BOGO free on selected drinks. While we were waiting in line, we received a Hawaiian tea sample. It was like Hawaii in a cup without leaving Indiana. It had a delicious tropical note of passion fruit with fragrant green jasmine tea. Super refreshing! Of course I had to try the original pearl milk tea and my boyfriend got the grass jelly milk tea.
Mmm…Mmm…Mmm, it was perfect down to the chewy tapioca balls. I like how you can customize the sweetness. There was a 120% sweet, talk about a sugar high! Indy is very fortunate to have a bubble tea chain from overseas. Hope it’s here to stay for good!

Awesome tea, I had matcha red bean milk tea with pearl. The red beans taste really good. Also the pearl and not anything like the cheap ones where they are so hard and your jaw hurts from chewing them. These were very fresh and soft
