Why am I reviewing a major corporation like Coca-Cola? Because of their parking lot… Duh! You see, every year, during the month of May, there’s a little race called the Indianpolis 500. The entire month of May is dedicated to this race, and the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend is Race Day! Prior to that race beginning, you will need a place to park your vehicle. See where I’m going with this? The parking lot is rented out the weekend of the race by $ 25 per parking slot. Holy cow that may seem expensive, especially compared to the guy down the street asking for only $ 10 to park in his lawn. Why pay the extra money? 1) It’s a parking lot.(No grass, no mud, no mess) 2) SECURITY, SECURITY, SECURITY(barbed-wire fence, actual security guards, restricted access) 3) Clean Port-a-Pottys(You can only use them if you’re parked there) 4) Easy access to the track!(Just a short walk to Turn 4!) You can also talk to the folks in the trailer that they set up at the entrance in the morning for fresh coffee and donuts! That’s important information if you choose to drive to the track the morning of the race! It may also be equally important for those of you who imbibed in any adult beverages the night before and may want that morning pick me up! That being said… I’ve been parking there since at least ’95 and have never had a problem in there!
