Courtyard Indianapolis Castleton

I feel like I have written a lot of the same hotel review lately. Spoiler alert — there are more coming after this one.
Although I think price here was a little high, I did book somewhat last minute. In any case, the hotel was comfortable, with clean rooms and a comfy bed, plus good shower water pressure, so I really have no complaints. Well, I guess, I wish there had been bathroom ventilation. Another for the list!
I also wish that given the price, breakfast was included, but they did have a good (if not also a little expensive) little breakfast bar thing with sandwiches and coffee. Maybe there was a package rate that included a breakfast voucher and I missed it when booking.

Wonderful experience (should be for the price). Clean room, incredibly helpful and sincere staff (Brian). Would stay here again and recommend to a friend

The staff were great, Marie helped us with reservations, room was clean and lots of parking, good location and they were helpful with questions. Great Place!!!

What was cool:
— free and big parking lot
— rooms have balcony
— free wi-​fi + possibility to buy «high speed» for 5 $ /​day
What wasn’t that nice:
— the room in general. It looked that it was 2in1 — part of the room newly renovated and part of the room old and needed reconditioning
— bathroom — i think the worst hotel bathroom (from a 3 stars hotel) I ever experienced (no fan /​the sink was outside the bathroom — like a «French» bathroom — so in the morning if you want to use the sink you will certainly bother your «room-​mate»
–mini market from the hotel crazy expensive — for ex a bottled water 5 $
— the room had a balcony that i think was never ever cleaned (inclusively the chairs and the table)
Unfortunately it was one of the few ¾ stars hotels in Indianapolis available at the time. If I had to go back I wouldn’t choose this hotel again

5 stars keeping in mind that it’s a Courtyard Marriott… not the Ritz. But, I’ve stayed in places significantly more expensive and not received the friendly service we did at this Courtyard Marriott. Caitlyn (sp?) could not have been more helpful and friendly. I did not get the young ladies name who check us in, but we didn’t arrive until well after mid-​night, and she was incredibly sweet as well. The hotel was packed with teenagers in for some big baseball tournament yet we had no problems.
Just wanted to send a sincere welcome to that team… keep up the great work. You’re an example for other Marriotts to follow.

This is a decent hotel. It is not a destination hotel. This is more of a business travelers hotel. It has the basics covered.

Workout space — check
Shops & restaurants near — check
Breakfast — check
Free wifi — check
Free parking — check
So, if you need a place to stay in Indy this is a good one.
