Exceptionally friendly, professional, and polite service. The food was reasonably priced and tasty Southern fare. Clean and comfortable facilities too. I loved the selection(including all the IU merchandise) and prices in the store.

I have never had a negative Cracker Barrel experience before today. It took calling three times until I got someone to answer the phone. I placed my order then showed up 15 minutes later. The hostess took a man talking on his cell phone to a table before addressing me, regardless of the fact that I had been standing there well before him. Then I waited another 10 minutes for my wrong order to come out. And another 10 minutes for blackberry topping for my pancakes. When I got home with the order I tasted the sunny side up eggs. The yolk was cooked properly but the whites were like rubber. Literally. I could have probably bounced them off the floor. I am so disappointed. I love Cracker Barrel but this experience was incredibly subpar.

I ordered 3 breakfast meals to-go. I was over charged for one of the meals, and was missing a sausage patty over which the waitress argued with me. I was supposed to get biscuits with 2 of my meals, they were forgotten. AND I ordered skim milk, but received Vitamin D. I went back to get my missing items, which they happily fulfilled, but of course, my food was cold by the time I got to eat it. Pretty disappointing overall.

Yuck yuck overcooked chicken and hash brown casserole. My server Steven o was really sweet. My nieces meatloaf was more like mush loaf. The cornbread was bricks. My eggs were over cooked.

I love everything about Cracker Barrel, but I have to agree with the others, the service at times can be a bit lacking – however, the food is delivered to you within minutes. I’m usually greeted by friendly waitresses here, no complaints here. The food is delicious, especially from the breakfast menu. One of my favorite spots.

So we ate dinner here last Wednesday night. We were seated quickly and our server came right over. You could tell she was new. I have been eating Cracker Barrel since i was very little. They do not do as great a job executing this southern style food as we do down in the south but they do a decent job most of the time. Cracker Barrel doesn’t really have any appetizers but they do have an item that is wonderful but not listed on the menu but it is still in their computer system to ring up. It is a cheese cracker tray and comes with 5 – 6 crackers with large thick cheese triangles on them and topped with a sweet pickle and comes with a side of mustard. It is only like $ 2-$ 3 and well worth it. If you have a new server you will probably have to ask for a manager to show them how to ring it in. OK so on to my meal. We ordered the Broccoli Cheddar Chicken and it was just ok, something was really bitter on the broccoli in fact most of our broccoli was burnt and that may have been the taste, it was literally black. I got dumplings for a side, they are always good and we got biscuits with strawberry jelly. and lots of sweet tea. So the manager who had been there 30 years I think he told us was really nice and went back and prepared our cheese tray. and the African American lady at the cashier stand, and I wish I knew her name, she was the most polite and sweet lady that has ever cashed me out. I almost tipped her. I came back in after I had left and bought this really nice Peacock plate and stand and she wrapped it up really nice for me so it would not get broken. Such a very nice lady. So 5 stars for the cashier!!!

Decent service. Our waitress was very friendly but the food… So disappointing. My boyfriend and I love Cracker Barrel breakfast but unfortunately, this Cracker Barrel sucked ass. The biscuits tasted like nothing but flour, the grits were watery, the scrambled eggs I had to send back bc they were runny and under cooked and when the new ones came out they literally tasted like nothing. The sawmill gravy had no flavor and the bacon tasted like it was maybe boiled then fried then set out for a few hours, it was extremely dry and stale. Since I didn’t eat anything, the waitress took our coffee off of the bill which was nice of her but didn’t ask if there was anything else she could get me since I literally ate a bite of everything and just kept getting more and more disappointed. The pancakes were good. Had a slight crunch to it and actually had flavor. Meh

The food is great, however the SERVICEISPOOR. The Greeter was horrible! She had no idea that we placed a takeout and greeted me frequently. The told me that my orders were never placed… 30 minutes later food with an Attitude! All the Management could do was apologize. Well how about training your staff or replacing them? I would not recommend this chain restaurant in this area. Save your money and time!

I’m a Cracker Barrel fan! We don’t have any out in California so I come here often. Last night I had the Southern trout with a side of green beans and broccoli. Mom had the lemon pepper trout with the same sides. They were both delicious, thoroughly cooked and still hot as they were placed on the table. The customer service was great and the waitress periodically checked in on us. We are both coffee lovers and ended the night with a coffee. I appreciate the fact that we were not rushed out of there and still checked on by the waitress.

Steadily going down hill. Service is good. Food seems to come out super quick. Almost like fast food. Last 2 times I’ve eaten there I’ve been sick. Hence, why we don’t go back! Used to be a super great place! Eaten there so many times when I was a kid.(20 years ago)

As good as it gets. We drove in from VA, and had Cracker Barrel for lunch in Ohio. The menu was so big we decided to go again for dinner, especially since lunch was so good. I actually got the exact same thing as I did for lunch– trout, green beans, potatoes, and carrots. Amazing food all around. plus we got some extra biscuits which were even better than the ones in Ohio! :)

Our go to place when low on cash, but high in hunger. Breakfast is always available and the daily specials are worthy of your consideration. My favorite is actually the vegetable plate. You can get meatless dumplings — the same ones from the chicken and dumplings platter — in addition to all the hot veggies and the awesome baked apples — these making an excellent dessert. I also go for the biscuits, but only if they are fresh. I also try to get some pocket change together to get some of the awesome old school candy they carry. This location is always good.

First time to any Cracker Barrel in a long time. Clean restaurant even with a mostly full house. Quick service. I enjoyed the Friday Fish Fry(breaded cod).

First time in Cracker Barrel and i don’t think we have this in San Francisco, I am giving it a 5 star because I asked the cashier if I can buy that little syrup they serve with pancakes she said NO, but she gave me one as a souvenir, that was CUSTOMERSERVICE. It was very reasonable price, very nice interior, I like the oldie style looks of the restaurant. Pancakes are good, I think one of the best pancakes I have ever tasted. I just wonder why they don’t have waffles and I hope they could have make the coffee a little bit stronger. All in all, this is a great restaurant for family. If we have this in SF, I would definitely come again.

While on vacation we stopped by since our closest Cracker Barrel is about 1000 miles away(literally). It was busy when we got there but emptied soon afterward. Our service was nice, but totally overwhelmed. She needed to be a bit more organized. I usually get the Chicken and Dumplings(which are hard to find here out west). It was good. I love their hash brown casserole, too. I love to people watch there, too.

Cydi best waitress! She’s been serving us since the 80’s. Brenda’s great in the gift shop area! Always Very helpful. Have to recommend the Spicy Grilled Catfish and Greens. Wish it was a tad more spicy but realize not everyone enjoys spice as much as I do. Chicken and Dumplins have a tendency to be hit or miss… when their on their great. Sometimes you have mushy dumplins and/or very little chicken. Biscuits lately have been inconsistent. We usually do carry out and sometimes I feel we get the older biscuist since we’re not sitting there to send back. The apple dumpling is very good. It is baked as a small pie rather than the traditional apple dumpling with crust. Highly recommend. Love the new carry out containers. Sturdy, less leakage and major improvement!!!

Standard Cracker Barrel… I did end up eating here each day I stayed at the neighboring Jameson Inn… I probably should take it easy to avoid gaining weight. Oh wait, too late… They will seat you quickly and I didn’t see too much of a line which is a good thing for a Cracker Barrel.

Decent service. Great sweet tea. Ok. Chicken’n’Dumplins, mashed potatoes w/gravy, and green beans — It was fairly bland. Savory(not sweet) cornbread.
