Clean facility. Friendly staff. Location can be tough to find if you’re looking for a building right off the street. This is within a rather rundown business park but Curtain Call is not at all rundown. The summer Hip hop class is our first experience here and apparently the original teacher quit just prior so it’s been a shuffle of teachers from week to week which isn’t what was expected but Curtain Call is making lemonade out of the lemons they were given. This is a children’s class and age appropriate. I believe most songs are on Radio Disney. I think my almost 12 year old would prefer a touch grittier class with more hip hop moves. From what I’ve seen this is more pop-Brittany Spears type moves than doing the Whip, the Nae Bar or more technical Hip hop moves. I think this should be slated as more of a pop dance class than hip hop. No street feel at all. Hip hop doesn’t ever have to inappropriate or vulgar to be gritty and true to the name. I think she may want to continue to go here but I will look for a studio offering more of what she is looking for. Very professional just may not be the move for us.
