This place has the best assortment of colors, employees and a great location in the mall. Top of my list is the aesthetic pleasure of this place. The colors reminds of spring and cupcakes. The color coded tins make selection easy. Best of all is the sample cup compartment on top of each bulk tin for everyone’s noses to smell the actual tea. The people were very nice offering samples of the day teas in glass shot glass size glasses. This is much more environmental than discarding plastic cups. The one helping me was Taylor. She must have been drinking a lot of the black teas cuz she was motoring through the descriptions of many teas like a pow, pow, pow! She knew her stuff and it was fun. I’m looking forward to trying out new teas. Maybe my tea section of the pantry will be full of colorful David’s tea tins.

Definitely my new favorite place in the mall. I had never ventured into David’s Tea before but I heard about their Matcha Maker and I’m all about making matcha easier to mix. I rolled up in there and was greeted kindly by 2 staff members on duty. One of them offered me 3 samples of the teas they had brewing that day, and they were all very yummy(can’t recall the names bc I had my eye on the prize). I grabbed up a Matcha Maker and starting chatting with one of the employees. She mentioned that they were having a special and because I had spent $ 35 on the matcha maker, I could pick 2 ounces of any tea out for free! So of course I picked their most expensive one, ceremonial matcha. I believe they said its about $ 13 an ounce so I got almost $ 30 worth of tea for FREE! Hallelujah I love sales! Just as she was preparing my free tea, the other employee asked if I wanted a free cup of tea to go. Umm, am I wearing my I Love Free Shit tshirt? Hell yes, I’ll take a free cup of tea, good sir. Considering they have like 5 or 6 different matchas, I decided to try the mocha matcha because hello, chocolate. It was so smooth, creamy and just sweet enough I chose to purchase 4 ounces, and got a free tin! And THEN… they gave me a free gift bag just for the hell of it(left over from the holidays). I strutted out of there looking like a walking advertisement for David’s Tea but I am SOHAPPY I went in and tried their stuff. And I absolutely love my Matcha Maker! Happy customer :)

Nope. Awful, awful, awful customer service. The lady working there today(who looked like she hadn’t bathed or washed her hair in days) completely ignored me while she carried on some inane conversation with her friend. I literally had to force her to acknowledge me. I love tea so I’ll just pay the extra money to support Teavana.

I am so please with going in here. I was all about Teavanna. But David’sTeas has opened my eyes. But I am very please with stopping in here at my husband’s suggestion. The teas are priced a little cheaper per ounce, and they are all about freebies. The sales associate, Rachel was very knowledgeable and eager to have us smell the different teas. We smelled a lot of teas and make several selection. She was super friendly but not that annoying fake friendly. She educated us what makes David’s different from Teavanna, but never dissed Teavanna. Which is something we respect. She even came to find us in the mall when she left something out of our bag. And apologize for leaving it out. There is a reward program to earn free teas. Teavanna doesn’t offer that.

I went 20 minutes out of my way both ways on a busy day to visit this store when I heard they’d opened — I’ve often purchased their products online but never been to a store. Receiving some Davids Tea for Christmas a few years ago turned me on to tea and I’ve been drinking it ever since. As far as the actual store goes, it is located in the mall near the Apple store. It’s fairly small and was kind of crowded today when I went there but I think that is probably because it’s still fairly new, and it’s the weekend… the staff are really knowledgable about the teas and there is both cold and hot tea to sample for free(delicious!). If you’re in the area /at the mall already, you should make a point to stop by just to taste the samples… and mabye walk by again later and hope they don’t remember you and have another sample… so tasty. Staff is very friendly but not overbearing like at some stores where you feel pressured to make a choice. they also helpfully pointed out where the sales were located without my even asking :) To walk into the store and purchase a tea to drink is comparable to Starbucks but a billion times better. To purchase the teas to brew at home is a little less expensive than Teavana I think, but still a little pricey unless you get some on sale when the seasons are changing– but the flavor is definitely better. The tea selection is fantastic. They also have nice gift sets which I think are perfect hostess and/or holiday gift– you can get seasonal collections, caffeinated, non-caf, herbal, organic & fair trade(some are, some aren’t), and variety includes white, green, black, red, herbal, fruit, rooibos, mate, chai… and on and on. Some lovely«brew on the go» cups as well. If you are one who insists on avoiding any artificial flavors, read the ingredients as a few of the teas do list«artificial flavors» but there are plenty that do not. Hands down best tea I’ve ever had. Just a note — no seating, so I def recommend stopping in to get a tea, but know it will be «to go» — this is a store that happens to have ready-made tea you can purchase — not a café. Still worth the stop even if you don’t want to actually purchase merchandise though.

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!! Ive always been a fan of tea but my passion has been with coffee until I first visited this super friendly store. Now Ive become such a lover of tea. I have so many favorites and you can pretty much try anything. My favorite is the Queen of Tarts. An amazing maté tea that is delicious, tart, and energizing. Ive always heard the benefits of tea and now I understand.
