Went for first time a few weeks ago, the stylist made me feel as if I was bothering her. I was going from long hair to short hair, so the manager told her to take «before & after» pictures, which she did, without even asking me. Not that it would been a problem but common courtesy would say she SHOULD have asked. She never spoke to me, not until she said…“you are done”. It was a decent cut, not great. I have to say the receptionist is a sweetheart and the ONLY reason I will go back, but with a different stylist.

I went in last week and got a Devacurl cut and have to say it’s the best cut I’ve ever had. The shape of my curls are better then ever. I also bought the Devacurl system and am in love. If you have curls and need a good cut, this is the place. Katelyn was my hairdresser.

Not sure what has happened but this is my last time coming here. This time and last I asked for a full highlight and the hair dresser stops at half and walks away… I am willing to pay for what I want why won’t they give it to me… Anyone recommend a salon that will give me what I want?
My first review was from my first visits years ago. That stylist has left and I wish I knew where she went.

Went in for a cut and color by Kayla, and she made my curls come to life and has truly helped me love them. This was in December and I haven’t pulled my hair back once since then, had the urge today to do it so I better go get a trim. can not say enough about the Deva curl system, if you have a curl in your hair, please give them a chance to make them LIVE!

Went in for a Devacut and Style with Felicia — highly recommend! She somehow managed to tame my frizzy hair into beautiful curls and also explained the products she was using along the way and how to properly apply them. I am definitely going back the next time I need a haircut.

This is a nice salon. The receptionists are very friendly and treat customers well. The stylists, like any other hair salon, are hit or miss. My first visit resulted in a sub-​par hair cut and me questioning if I should give them another chance. I ended up going back and seeing a different stylist. The second girl was fabulous and she gave a great cut. Unfortunately, she is leaving the salon so I am iffy on whether or not to give a third person here a shot. The positives are that they do employ very nice people, it’s a nice business, and the price is good for a cut and shampoo. The negatives are that it may take you a couple cuts before you find someone who is very good. Overall, I’d still say that you should give them a try and hope that you get a good stylist.

I went in for a color correction. I explained what I had done to my hair (added a warm color at home) and that I wanted to go back to an ash blonde with lighter highlights ALL OVER. I even showed pictures to the stylist. She asked me if I wanted all over color and I said yes — she came back and started working. She never consulted me on what she was doing.
I was shocked when I was turned around to face the mirror to see I have every other highlights. That helped lift color… but did nothing to cool the remaining warm hair or correct the fact that the warm remaining was very uneven.
To give the stylist some credit — I didn’t ask for changes at that point. 1) It was too late 2) That place is dark inside at night and I didn’t think it was bad at first… just not what I asked for at all.
I got home and looked at my hair more closely to see that not only was the top over processed but she did PARTIAL highlights. That means no pony tail! I paid for full highlights!
It gets better. When I looked at the top and the sides it was stripes. I looked like a skunk!
I ended up getting it fixed elsewhere for less! This salon is trying hard to be nice… but this stylist was subpar at color. I felt nervous when I pulled up and saw the location… should have went with my first instinct and left! Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover.
Haircut was fine.

I’ve been going to DeWeese for years now. The stylists are friendly and skilled, the prices reasonable and the work just excellent.
