Being generous with a one I have been on pause for 10 minutes trying to watch a movie. Last 2 movies have done the same thing. Everyone mentions the weather but it is nice out and 4 am so there shouldn’t be to much traffic and no sun spots

DONOT get service through Direct TV! I don’t care how much cheaper it may be, DONOT get their service. I’ve had satellite connection problems within the first month of service. I tried to cancel but was told that it was a small issue that should not happen again. Well, it did and to make things worse I cannot cancel my cable plan unless I pay a $ 200+ cancellation fee(you have 30 days to cancel to avoid any fees). They literally trapped me. I’d rather have no TV than go with Direct TV!

we have had direct tv several months now. when we ordered i asked a question about limits of programing(see uverse review) i was told that main box had 5 limit however additional boxes could tune to live tv independently. so we ordered. after install first night we ran into 5 limit. other boxes could not watch independent. i called tech support they informed me definately 5 limit(brother loves reality anything) they said and dis send me a separate dvr. so now we have 7 tuners overall in my room just 2, which almost always is enough for me. it is a 4 due to initial lie about service.

We have had Direct TV for more than six years and no longer have a contract. Our remote was not working and we requested a new one. The remote was sent quickly, but it did not solved the problem. The on/off and volume works, but switching stations is very intermittent. After three+ days of trying to get it solved and hours on the phone, all the advice we got is to upgrade or sign a new two year contract. It is very, very frustrating. We are now shopping for another company. DirectTV, this was no way to treat loyal customers!

Worst company in HISTORY!!! I would never recommend them to anyone! We had them for 8 yrs, never was late on a payment, and had top of the line everything! We were no longer in contract so we opted to try a cable company. Next thing I know, they r charging us a cancellation fee… That NOONE informed us of and we should not owe. Can’t talk to anyone in their dispute center because it doesn’t even exist. It’s a joke of a company. Don’t sign with them!

So expensive, I wish we had other options. I have had so many bad experiences with other providers though, this seems like the least bad option. We chose them over Dish Network because of better sports programming. However, Dish’s DVR records programs much better than this one. Outage due to weather does not seem better or worse than Dish.
