Dunkin’ Donuts

I just don’t care for Dunkin’ Donuts. As a child I loved them, then they disappeared. Now they are back, but they are just not the same. I know people are crazy about the coffee, but I am one of those freakish people who doesn’t really drink drip coffee. Their espresso drinks are nothing to get exited over. The frozen coolattas are decent. I’ve had a few breakfast sandwiches including the smoked sausage. Spicy, but I could have made a better one at home. The donuts are also nothing spectacular, which is so disappointing because I looooovvvvveee donuts. Most food items are subpar especially for the price.
I will say the highlight for all you Dunkin’ fans is that this location has daily deals. So worth checking out if you are a fan. Unfortunately, I am just not a fan.

I work right by this place so I stop in every now and then — the last two times they have literally forgotten my order after I have placed it. Two times in a row? Come on. The same thing has happened to one of my coworkers. They don’t have it together at this location.

I was in desperate need of coffee and a pumpkin donut one Sunday morning a few weeks back and decided to stop at this location on the way to my sisters. I was disappointed when I walked in and saw that not only did they not have any pumpkin donuts available, there selection was very slim. I heard the girl behind the counter tell a customer a few people ahead of us that they weren’t sure when more donuts would be out. They were pretty busy and it was around 9am but I would expect a donut shop to have donuts or at least know when there might be more available. When it was finally our turn, we ordered a few donuts that they had available and our regular Toasted Almond coffee. Service was fast but I could have kicked myself because as soon as we walked out, we looked back and they were bringing out a tray of pumpkin donuts. Oh well! Hopefully the next time we visit, they will have more of a selection out.
