First off… the bad. The office staff. I have shown up before only to be told my appointment time was different than I was scheduled for and once they said I had the wrong day. I know I am not crazy, as I literally input appointments on to my calendar as I am on the phone when making them. I do not mess around with doctor’s appointments. They take up my work day and are ususally very early in the morning. This happened a few years ago, so hopefully that issue has been corrected. Also, the front desk staff seems a bit lazy to me. For instance instead of looking up my pharmacy information(which is literally at their finger tips… I know this bc my other IU docs do this) they insist I give them the phone number every year I call in for an Rx refill. Also they do not give appointment reminders for any other appointments outside of your yearly exam… so I’ve been told anyway. So why do I keep going and put up with the less than efficient office staff? Kelley Rogers… the nurse practitioner I have seen for years. She’s very proactive. This year she asked if my mother(an ovarian cancer survivor) had the BRCA1 test, and if she tested positive it was time to test me as well. She did a thourough job of explaining why. Also I feel she never pushes for unnecessary testing. For me the OB-Gyn is never the most comfortable place to be, and I think Kelley does a great job of entertaining a pleasant conversation to keep you relaxed. What I like best about her style of practice is that she seems geniunely interested in answering all my questions. Other OB-Gyn groups I have been to over the years just want to herd you in and out for your yearly. I never feel that way now. I have also heard great things about the doctors at the Eagle Creek. I have no reason to see one as I’ve never been with child. I am a little concerned about what I mentioned in the first paragraph if I ever was. I mean… ‘Ain’t nobody got time for that’… especially when you are the size of a beach ball.

I have not had my baby yet* but the care I receive here is top-notch. The staff is very friendly and the physician(Dr. Lund) is very down to earth and personable. The office here is always packed and it seems that often my appointment is always delayed. I understand that it’s going to happen especially in an OB practice. The staff keeps you informed though. I am, at times, a little put off by the nurse practitioner that answers questions over the phone(not Kiley). She can be a little abrupt and not very understanding.
