Be advised., . Great value & fun place to game IF you know what you’re getting. Console w/games available on an hourly basis, BUT, PCs require purchase or subscription of any games & you likely won’t be told that up front… Very good selection of Xbox &PS4 games, being able to play these for an hourly rate is a good deal assuming you can get on a console. PC games, however, are another story. Even after you have paid the hourly rates to play, all PC games, including steam options, require either an existing subscription or game purchase. I was mystified and disappointed to find that there wasn’t even a selection of pre-purchased games available to access through Steam. You can, however, log into your own steam account and play games you already own. Was informed that the PCs really are just there to allow people to play the games that they personally own in a group setting. That being said, I was disappointed not so much by the requirement to purchase the PC games as I was in not being told this before I and a friend reserved our PCs to play. Staff response was not«oh sorry you didn’t realize you still have to buy the games» but merely a shrug and cavalier«thats how its set up». That they had no consoles available on a Sunday is understandable, and I’d still have come back another time for the opportunity to use the consoles at an hourly rate. But the fact that they could’ve cared less that my friend and I walked out the door with two hours of playtime left to die on our idle PCs left me feeling bitter & I won’t return as a matter of principle, at this point. Shame because I do a lot of gaming get-togethers and events through my own organization, and that’s a good amount of business that walked out their doors. Two stars because it’s got its perks, if you know what your options are. I can even understand and overlook a lack of foresight to have any non-subscription games(at least Steam titles!) available and already purchased & installed, the PCs are for LAN of your own games, fine. But certainly a loss of two stars for letting us walk in and reserve computers without telling us that nothing on the PCs was free to play, a rather critical piece of info. Loss of one additional star because if a customer is walking out just 15 minutes into their game time, you may want to at least act like you at least care.

Nothing quite beats being able to play games with your friends. The only thing that would make it better is being able to be in the same room as them when you beat them to a pulp(ingame of course). That is exactly what is offered here at eBash. It’s the only one of its kind in the area, and they have done an amazing job in pioneering this type of business. They cater to every type of gamer, and consistently have lockins, where you pay a small fee to play all night. They are one of the few places where you can get some energy drinks(as far as I’ve found), and are amazing to their customers. The management here loves to get to know the patrons, and will do what hey can to assist if you ever have any issues. From what I’ve seen, they also do parties, which for a younger kid, would be an amazing experience!

I’m giving it a four as I haven’t been yet when they’ve had their PCs set up. However, read the following for what I’ve experienced so far: I have been there once for Indy Pop Con’s promotion night, and it was great! I got two Bawls G33K B33Rs(even though they are now just called Root Beers) and participated in a fun little tourney. I was the winner and received a tee shirt, three comics, and a board game in the mail! It was a fun time, and I would go back again to try their PCs. I’ll be doing a Lock-in in the near future for a full experience!
