I ordered a thank you arrangement and some add ons online from this location to be delivered to a friend. The friend has a new baby and a sign by the door bell that says«please don’t ring baby sleeping… Call *this* number instead.» The delivery person rang the bell. The baby was upset so his 3 year old sister came to the window to see who woke the baby up. The delivery person then tried calling the number but the mother didn’t pick up because she was trying to calm the baby. Because the mother didn’t come to the door and he saw the toddler, the driver called his supervisor. Instead of calling me, or the recipient the supervisor made the decision to call the police and report an abandoned child. Had the driver stuck around for the police or delivered the fruit to a neighbor(as it says on their website that they’ll do in the event no one is home) he would’ve seen that the mother was, indeed, home. So, my friend didn’t get the thank you gift I sent but did receive police in her home. I called and left a very angry voice mail. Which was returned at a very early time the next day. All I got were excuses and flat out lies. Saying the driver had texted the number(he did not) the driver had waited outside for 15 minutes(he most certainly had not) etc. and one half hearted apology«We were just looking out for the kid, this wasn’t out of spite» While I appreciate this, a little common sense and less overreaction by both the supervisor and the driver would’ve gone a long way towards not turning my gift into a total nightmare for the recipient. This fruit is way too over priced to have this kind of customer service attached to it. Never again.

I called ahead to be sure they had something nice and was assured that they did. I arrived and no one was in the front. After waiting for 5 minutes I knocked on the back room door and could saw an employee on the phone who saw me. After another 5 minutes I knocked again and she was still in the phone. Another 5 minutes and I opened the door informing her that I was a customer wanting to buy the $ 55 item I ordered. She said I was not allowed to open the door and she was calling security. I told her to go ahead but I was leaving and would never return. Which I will not. She is probably happy because I’m one less customer she has to deal with. Glad I don’t own that business.
