Underwhelming. While the burrito is of comparable size and price to Chipotle, Qdoba and other Tex-Mex chains, El Guacamole is missing one critical element… FLAVOR! The tortilla was gummy, the rice and beans were present but added nothing but mass, and the chicken was flavorless — my guess is it came pre-cooked, pre-cut and was simply reheated. I also ordered a kids meal for my son. The only options are a cheese quesadilla or cheese burrito and drink with sides of rice, beans, or Mac&Cheese. Add protein for $ 1.50. It too had no flavor. The portions were tiny(I could probably have counted the individual grains of rice and black beans). If deciding between here and the place next door, go next door. One final note… If you’re going to call your restaurant El Guacamole it should be excellent and included in all your entrees.(We didn’t even have guacamole offered so I can’t comment on how it actually tastes.)
