Snap! Crackle! POP! That always pops in my head when I go visit a chiropractor. I always hear people say, «Once you go to a chiropractor, you’ll always HAVE to go to a chiropractor.» I’m not sure what that means. Yes, that first time you get adjusted and you feel wonderful, great and the world is a beautiful place. And then when your body gets out of whack again you’ll have to get an adjustment. The chiropractor isn’t the one making it so you HAVE to go again. Speak to your out of whack body! I have been in 3 major accidents(one on the autobahn in Germany), one bike race accident(oops! was that the turn?! *sliiiiide down the road and get stopped by slamming into a. hehe, STOP sign*), and I’ve fallen downstairs 5 different times; the last time fracturing one of my vertebrae. I’m clumsy and possibly born with someone elses feet. so it’s not hard to picture my body getting out of whack from time to time. Once a month I step into the tranquil office of Sheila Wilson. Her ability to understand and feel(with her hands, she’s not psychic!) where I need to be adjusted amazes me. I like hearing the snapping, crackling and popping my body makes when being adjusted. Lets me know that I will walk out feeling wonderful and ready to take on whatever comes my way. A couple of good things to know about this office. There are 2 massage therapists on staff($ 35 half hour, $ 65 full hour) and Beckett, Sheila’s therapy dog. Be aware that you might be waiting a bit; my appointments have never been on time and I’ve had to wait between 10 – 20 minutes each visit before being seen. They take most health insurance and cash for people who don’t have insurance(like me! part-timer and student). Each visit I’ve had has been $ 35.
