If its your first time eating here, they’ll give you a free piece of rib tip to try. This seems wholly unnecessary, as you can smell how good it is when you walk in the door. BBQ is great and really inexpensive. I had the greens, too, and they were really nice; not cooked to complete mush, flavorful, and just a bit spicy.

When it comes to ribs, I never trust chain places. How can someone who is cooking 20 different things be good at any of them? And good ribs are not necessarily easy. This place is definitely off the chain. (Sorry I couldn’t resist.) But seriously, really good, smokey rib tips. ½ pound is a good size serving. Just enough char, just enough tender bits. I could eat them without the sauce. But DON’T SKIP THE SAUCE! I got the spicy, it could have been a little bit spicier for me, (I love hot), but the taste was awesome. I used the bread to sop it up. Don’t judge. Southern style sides. Baked beans, Corn on the cob, Potato salad, Collard greens. The greens were great, not bitter like some I’ve had, with really good flavor. Potato salad was good too.
Service was good, the guy behind the counter was super friendly. It’s hard for small, hometown places to make it these days. I hope they stay in business for a long time. I’ll do my part, telling all my friends!

Great food! Great prices! No complaints here. There’s limited seating so it’s best to get your food to go. Five dollars for ½ pound of rib tips which is a good amount. All sides $ 2 and a piece of sweet potato pie (which I had and it was delicious) or cheesecake. You can get spicy or sweet bbq sauce. I got sweet and it was very good. Rib tips were tender and so good. Employees were so friendly. Highly recommended.

Rib tips are very good. You have to mix the sweet and spicy sauce together unbelievable. You can beat the try it before you buy it method that they bring.

Wonderful food! Friendly employees! Great over all experience! The greens and corn was cooked to perfection! I would recommend this to my friends and family!
