Enjoyed some slider goodness last night while they were parked at Triton Brewing. Normally, I might have given them 3 stars, but the seasoned fries have me bumping them up to 4! They were really tasty. If you like ketchup, be sure to ask for extra as they give you just a small amount. The ketchup tastes really fresh though! It tastes like they make their own, but I’m not entirely sure. They have about 4 or 5(can’t remember) sliders every day and rotate the selection in and out from a larger list. I had the Some Like It Hot with roasted jalapenos, onions, and provolone. They were very tasty! I like the spice the peppers gave them. I can handle some serious heat, but this was nice enough not to overwhelm everything else. My husband had the more traditional sliders, and he liked them but compared them to a popular slider chain. I beg to differ! They are slightly reminiscent of that, but they also have choices like Cajun pulled pork and a Hawaiian slider that I would really like to try next time. While at Triton, they text you when your order is ready which is handy. I’m not sure if they do that regularly or not. I definitely recommend with a lovely Triton brew!

Bought a couple sliders from the food truck for lunch the other day. Have to say, the sliders were thoroughly average. Some of the other options look pretty good but they weren’t available when I went.(I would specifically love to try that catfish and curry mayo slider). Cajun Pulled Pork — pretty decent. The pulled pork was moist and cooked well. The BBQ sauce was mostly sweet with just a bit of a tangy flavor at the end. Nothing really cajun about the pulled pork, just a normal pulled pork. A little Cajun spicing might’ve made it a much more interesting sandwich to be honest. Southern Bell — Pulled chicken with rosemary and something else. Almost totally without flavor and without sauce. What sauce there was was good, but there was none of it, just tasted like the most plain/bland chicken you’ll ever eat. Shame they didn’t add more sauce. Pretty decent deal — two sliders and a bag of chips for I think $ 7. Decently filling lunch, but rather disappointing flavor wise. Kinda wish I could give it 2.5 stars.

I got 2 Beirut Pocket sliders with a bag of chips for $ 7. I think this is priced about right with the rest of the food trucks. This vegetarian slide comes with cucumber, hummus, tahini, radish, falafel and lettuce in between pita bread. The falafel wasn’t a traditional fried one it was more like a chickpea patty pan seared. These«sliders» were super flavorful and would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a meat-free option.

Holy nom nom! Sometimes I get to be a negative person. I love food trucks but I’ve been burned by a number of Indy food trucks that when I am up to order at a new food truck I haven’t been before I get this flood of negative thoughts, «It looks plain» «That’s quite a bit of money» «Should I just go grab a salad, I’m going to be disappointed anyways.» But man these guys really proved me wrong! Don’t lose faith in the food trucks! Haha. We split the following: Chicken Salad slider, the Olympian, the Rosemary Chicken and my fav the Peruvian egg salad slider. Sweet baby Jesus! Delicious. Food: 4⁄5 Service: 4⁄5

Tried the rosemary chicken, grandma’s burger, & the hot Hawaiian. I must say I was excited to try it after hearing good reviews, but I was a little disappointed in the food. The chicken was supposed to have a white sauce, but the chicken was very dry. The hot Hawaiian was flavorful, but the onion relish was too much! Finally, the burger was tasty, but it was very dry. I’m not sure if I’ll try this one again.

One of my favorite food trucks! Great food without the pretension that is often associated with the nouveau food truck movement that’s sweeping the country. They make about a dozen different sliders, but on any given day, only serve 4, which rotate daily. 4 is more than enough variety and is to be expected due to the lack of kitchen space in a typical food truck. What also makes this place great is you get a great deal. You can try all 4 sliders(«The Home Run»(or mix and match them any way you want) for under $ 10.

I have to admit, this is my first experience getting a bite from the food truck. I saw Slider Station food truck right in front of me when I was downtown. I had never heard the name before, the aroma from the food truck was great and made me feel hungry, and they were selling PULLEDPORK — my favorite… I tried it and I loved their sliders. I tried their rosemary chicken slider and Cajun style pulled pork topped with coleslaw… Though I did not really care about the slider buns, the chicken and pulled pork were tasty. For $ 5.50, I got 2 sliders, a small bag of chips and a bottled water… Very reasonable price. They are also selling dessert that you can buy it ala carte or mix and match in your combo. I am going to follow this food truck next time I crave for their sliders…

Food Tried:(Ordered as a double, $ 5.00) — Cajun Pulled Pork: BBQ pulled pork topped, if you like, with our creamy homemade cole slaw($ 2.50 individually, sans chips) — Far East Deli: A refreshing deli bursting with flavors, crisp vegetables, shredded cabbage and a cool, sweet plum sauce($ 2.50 individually, sans chips) — Chips & Water(included with the double, but each $ 1.00 separately) Okay, so I thought I had finally settled on my favorite two food trucks. At first, there was one who stood above, and then it was joined by a second, but as of today, I must admit to myself that, though not a single food truck has been anything short of delicious, KG Slider Station is Top 3. Taking the great, albeit depraved at times when considering White Castle, concept of Sliders, KG’s is sliders-done-best. Great ingredients, fantastic flavors, and quick service, all from a truck. I’m beginning to think I may never go to a sit down restaurant again if I have a choice. There’s just too much good stuff coming out of trucks in this town. KG’s sliders are SAVORY and GOURMET, just as they are billed. ‘Little Bites, Big Taste’ is their catch phrase, and it is absolutely spot on. I have not had pulled pork so good since the last time I ate at Hickory Park in Ames, Iowa about four years ago. Having spent nearly half a decade in Iowa, I KNOW my pulled pork. And I know when it’s perfect. So tender, perfectly smothered, and the slaw not too overpowering. And the Far East! Out from left field! I didn’t realize what I was getting in to, but I’ve rarely had a sandwich so good(the last time being at Duos Indy a few weeks ago, but before that, years. Plum sauce? My goodness. Gimme more. The greatest dilemma of the whole meal was when I was down to one bite left of each slider, and couldn’t decide which to take first, because the other one would leave such an amazing flavor in my mouth. It’s a tough life, friends. Price wise, spot on. I ate my sliders slowly because they were so tasty, and I was full until dinner, so I feel like a double is perfectly portioned if you are conscientious about eating, making the price totally reasonable. I like that chips are offered, because they’re a great salty taste with the slider(I used them to clear my palate between bites of each slider, alternating bites), and the water was perfect… soda would have spoiled it. All in all, a good sized meal at a good sized price. Because I love to feel like I’m being constructive in some way by writing all this, here are a few parting thoughts: 1. Woo cardboard recyclable lunch boxes! 2. Is there a possibility of a long-standing vegetarian option? I didn’t realize the Far East had meat, and while I obviously don’t mind meat(pulled pork, mmm), I am sure some people would like the choice. 3. I know Lays are a good deal, but is there another option for amazing chips? Does anyone make local chips? Can we get a chip food truck???
