I went to the drive through and ordered a bacon wrapped deep dished pizza. I waited for a fresh pizza to come out the oven, which they didn’t have a problem with and were very respectful. The pizza was hot and good the only problem I had was the amount of bacon. When I think bacon wrapped, I think the pizza would be wrapped in bacon. There were pieces of bacon wrapped on it but the whole pizza was not wrapped in bacon. I will go back and try it again, but just reiterate the«bacon wrapped» part of the pizza. For $ 13.08 I feel like I should get what I paid for.

How did I end up at Little Caeser’s Pizza in Indianapolis? Short answer: I was there on business, I was drunk, the pizza was $ 5, it was the first sit down Little Caesar’s restaurant I had ever seen, and had never been inside a sit down Little Caeser’s restaurant. I just had to do it. Long answer: It’s sort of like when you’re at a random club, and you’re drunk, and it’s closing time, and all the skinny pretty girls are in the arms of other guys, and you spot a big girl with a Thundercats tattoo at the end of the bar, and you have never been inside a big girl with a Thundercats tattoo. I just had to do it. I mean, you just had to do it. Anyway, the pizza was okay, the crazy bread was amazing, and the staff was really friendly. And I was sort of ashamed of myself afterwards.

Yeah I know I was desperate. Really desperate. The«5 Minute Pizza» is not. I know I get what I pay for, but I want to get what they advertised. I wanted 5 minute pizza! Okay, when I got the pizza, and truth be told, it was about 10 minutes, which really isn’t that bad. Oh, did I mention. there were 3 cars I front of me when I drove up? And it was late? Oops. But really, I took the advertisement literally and I wanted my pizza in 5. So, okay. There you have it. Oh, and when I got it, it was pretty good.

Let’s call this the Little Caesars of the not-so-hot-and-ready large pizzas. We came in on a Friday evening, probably around seven, and there really weren’t a lot of people inside the store. We ordered two large hot-and-ready pizzas and two orders of crazy bread thinking that it would take literally no time at all, as it never does, but we ended up waiting for around twenty minutes before our order was finally out. Not only did the one of the pizzas come out first, we had to wait with one pizza for ten minutes before we got the other one, leaving it slightly luke warm. We weren’t the happiest campers, but at least we got our pizzas. The inside of the restaurant is something to be desired, too, as there were several leaks in the ceiling and holes scattered throughout, and somewhat dirty. There are definitely higher quality Little Caesars in Indianapolis, so don’t judge them based off this location!

If catsup on an english muffin is one star, Totinos Party Pizza Supreme two star, Napolese/Co/DeLorenzos/Pepe’s four star, and my grilled homemade tomato pie a five star then Lil C’s slots in nicely at three. Close. cheap and convenient especially when Bluto and company drop over unexpectedly.

It’s $ 5. $ 5 and they always have one ready for you. $ 5, always ready, and they even have a drive through. Cheap + fast + lazy = my American dream. It’s not bad, either. Not great, but not bad. If you think of really good pizza shops as the Major Leagues and frozen pizzas as Class A minors, then this falls somewhere in between — probably a .500 ball club in AAA.
