Have you noticed a trend with these reviews? I have a carton of milk that has been open longer than this location, yet it is firmly established as an awful store you should never consider visiting, unless you have time to kill — because you will. My first time in the drive thru I was told to pull forward, where I waited 8 – 10 minutes … for a large Coke. Second verse same as the first: Pull forward, wait an absurd amount of time on a sandwich they’re supposedly making fresh, and receive lukewarm sandwich. Gave them two more chances, had similar results. Never again.

*Horribly* slow service. I waited 8 minutes at the drive-through speaker there was only one car at the other speaker. The parking lot was nearly empty. This was Sunday afternoon at about 4:15PM, so not rush hour. I then went into the lobby to order any employees were laughing moving very slow. After another five minutes of waiting I finally left with no food.

Worst McDonalds EVER! Takes forever for service. Went inside to order and they never walked over for 5 minutes. I was the only one in there but it was breakfast rush. All I wanted was a Diet Coke! I ended up leaving. Do NOT stop here thinking it will be quick!

So much for«fast» food. Neither Kat nor I are feeling especially well today. We had what should have been a quick errand to run and opted for forgo nutrition in favor of convenience and grab the kids and I breakfast at McDonald’s. Not the best choice, I know, but beats what the kids would have gotten otherwise. We slowly eased our way thru the drive thru at McDonald’sstore #36748 on North Michigan Rd. The time stamp on our receipt shows the order was taken at 10:32AM. It took ten minutes to pay and receive our food, and when we got it, one sandwich, mine naturally, was wrong. So, I go inside to get the correct sandwich. Should have been no more than a five-minute trip, right? Oh no. I should have known when I saw the tremendously long line of people waiting for food that this was not going to go well, and it didn’t. FORTY-FIVEMINUTES passed before I got a new sandwich and it was STILLWRONG! What’s worse, though, is that there were people in line before me who WERESTILLWAITING when I left! There’s NO excuse. There was only one person on the prep line and this child was moving slower than molasses running uphill in January. What sandwiches and breakfasts that were coming out were going to the drive thru, not the backlog of people in the dining room. One group of older ladies MISSEDCHURCH because they were waiting on their breakfast! The manager had, by that point, already given so many refunds that she didn’t have any available cash to give any more! Obviously livid by the time I got my sandwich, I was quick to call the number on my receipt to report such horrid service. What was I told? THISNUMBERDOESNOTPROVIDESERVICEFORTHATRESTAURANT! If I could have reached through the phone and strangled someone at that point I most assuredly would have done so. I did finally get through to the right customer service person and complained without actually quite yelling, though I came close when I had to spell my name for the seventh time. I understand things happen. I understand getting backed up by 15 – 20 minutes. But having people waiting OVERANHOUR for their food is inexcusable for ANY restaurant and down right CRIMINAL for a fast food establishment working with inferior product. Convenience sometimes requires we make lesser quality dining choices, but that’s one McD’s I’d just as soon see close.
