Meadows YMCA

Recently joined and have gone twice now. Nice and clean, equipment is all new! Location is convenient and it’s not crowded! Staff is helpful and friendly too. Love it here so far!

What a great addition to this neighborhood! I live in between this YMCA and the Jordan YMCA, and I had been making the longer drive to Jordan when I decided to try this one. I was a little hesitant just because of the part of town its in, but as the other two reviews have said, this is an impeccably nice gym. Also, safety doesn’t seem to be an issue. As a young female, I was a little concerned, but all seems well.
I’ve only used the cardio room, but the machines are great and most of them have their own TVs which makes the workout a little more enjoyable. I walked past the basketball courts and there were tons of kids from the nearby schools in there playing and hanging out, so it’s nice to see the YMCA reaching this demographic and giving them a safe space to hang out in.
I was a previous member of LA Fitness, but I love what the YMCA stands for, especially by opening gyms in underserved parts of Indy. Plus, the facilities are way, way nicer than LA Fitness (and other gyms I’ve seen in Indy).

This is an incredibly clean facility. Staff is very nice. Brand new equipment (built in August 2013). Multiple basketball courts. No pool, but if you get an association membership you have access to indoor and outdoor pools nearby.

Brand new and super clean YMCA. Big basketball court always teeming with kids, impeccable cardio and weight area. Nice, friendly staff. Great addition to the neighborhood. (Nice parking lot, too.)
