Monon Animal Hospital

Monon Animal Hospital is the best!!! We travel from Bloomington-​Normal, IL back to Indy just to have our beloved chocolate lab taken care of by the staff! In addition to knowing that Willow will be in the best of hands with Drs. Simpson or Rueter, it is obvious how much they love the animals that come through their doors and I just can’t say enough great things about this place! I just have peace of mind when I leave my baby in their care!

My wife and I used to take our cat, Cready, to this clinic when we lived in Indianapolis. The last time we went was late 2010, but I felt like leaving a review in retrospect.
Dr. Simpson is a wonderful veterinarian who has an excellent bedside manner, patience (made evident by his work with Cready who is not always cooperative), and obviously knows his stuff. He also seemed to know when Cready had had enough and was able to coax cooperation out of our cat when it was not forthcoming. Dr. Simpson is confident in his work as the first visit we took Cready in for some ringworm and prescribed some medicine without doing blood work. I’ve worked with several vets and Dr. Simpson seems to have experience beyond his years. He understands the financial burden veterinary work can be as well and tries to be sensitive to that end. Furthermore, he is a very nice person to just chat with.
The clinic is clean and Cready likes it there (when we would arrive, not by the time we would leave) unlike any of the practices we have been to since moving. The vet techs were also extremely nice and obviously loved animals. The friendliness, and cleanliness there is unparalleled. I cannot recommend Dr. Simpson and Monon Animal Hospital enough.
