Great neighborhood pizza, salad and breadsticks. Horrible hours. Drove up there just now at 12:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday and they are closed even though their posted hours say they open at 10 am. This is the second time this has happened in a month. Either follow your posted hours or change your hours to say «we are open whenever we feel like it».

Didn’t go into the restaurant, so I can’t attest to the amazing service everyone else referenced, which may be why my rating is a little lower than the average.
I think the pizza is pretty good. A little on the greasy side, but as others have referenced, in a good, reminiscent of the pizza you had as a kid kind of a way.
The breadsticks were not so good. Maybe the pizza stuffed ones are better?
Salad wasn’t very good either.
I would definitely get their pizza again. It’s delicious, quick, and if you order a medium it as big as most places larges. Definitely try the pizza. A very good option if you live in the area and you’re looking for delivery!

Found this great little pizza shop while working looking for something with a delivery service. They are very affordable and great pizza. I ordered their stuffed pizza and an order of their pepperoni bread sticks, received it in less than forty minutes when they quoted an hour. Well definitely stop by any time I’m on this side of town.

My family and I just recently stumbled upon this little gem. The NY style pizza is fantastic and the pepperoni breadsticks with spicy cheese dipping sauce has quickly become my favorite. Delivery is as speedy as expected and we’ve yet to come upon a rude delivery person. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area who wants to try a different style of pizza.

Surprisingly tasty and affordable pizza & pasta can be found in this hole in the wall joint. I come out this way once a week for school there’s not that many places to grab something to eat. The guys that run the place are super friendly and that’s always a plus.

Brought my 8 yr old over to Indy Zoo – we live near Columbus, OH. Pizza Doughmain pizza hit the spot! Went to their website link (via Unilocal!) for 2 bux off coupon. As good as, or better than, most pizzas you will eat.

It’s the perfect far eastside pizza joint when you’re craving «food court» pizza. Crispy «reheated» pizza by the slice, tasty pepperoni stuffed breadsticks, decadent calzones, and all for a VERY affordable price.

Pizza Doughmain is basically an independently owned place that has copied the food of popular NY-​style quick service pizza restaurants. And that’s okay with me. The best thing in the place is the dough — it’s got a really great flavor and when cooked, it is soft, chewy, and full of yeasty delight. The toppings are standard sausage, peperoni, etc, but they are okay. It’s not gourmet. It’s not the best pizza I ever had. But it’s quick, it’s affordable, and they have great dough. Good enough for me.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer… the pizza is excellent… not the very best I’ve ever had, but certainly well above average.
The service was prompt and friendly, and the harried pizza maker/​server did a fine job of taking care of everyone. It appeared he could’ve used some help, but he did fine on his own.
The breadsticks were simply outstanding, but do yourself a favor… if the servers says they’re «very hot»…take his word for it.
I don’t get over to this side of town very often, but when I do, I’ll certainly come back here!

I’m an Indy east side native now living in Chicago, where you can find a decent local pizza place every other block. When I visit Indy and get pizza, I always try to avoid the ubiquitous chains and patronize Pizza Doughmain. It’s good, fresh thin-​crust pie cut into big triangular slices… more NY than Chicago style, but I can overlook that! Prices are reasonable, people are friendly.
