I ordered the elk burgers, but was given the the crab cakes. There was less than 1 tablespoon total of crab in total of two cakes. the tiniest little flakes I had to hunt for to even find. They were pretty tasteless as well. It was like a crabish flavored corn break sandwich. The truffle fries were decent, but $ 12 for not getting what I ordered and quite literally almost no crab in the crab cakes was not worth it. Don’t bother.

First time having food truck fare by the Statehouse. The crab cake minis are delicious. The red pepper aioli was the perfect compliment to the crab, I scrapped the raw onion off though. The hand cut fries were a little disappointing(we ordered them without the truffle oil) they were tepid when we got them. I think they might prepare large batches at a time and they sit under a warmer too long. I would definitely try the truck again though. Again, LOVED the Crab Cakes!

This place haunts me. Two years ago, I ate the best Cuban sandwich of my life, coming off the back of a GenCon food truck. For those two years, I could not remember the place where I’d gotten it from. I roamed aimless, mindless, from restaurant to restaurant, hoping to find that crispy, delectable combination of bread, cheese, and pig. That beautiful marriage of pickle and mustard. Hope fled. Despair reigned. I resigned myself to never finding it again. It was here the whole time. Serendipity has the greatest Cuban sandwich of my life. And my yearly trip to GenCon will never be the same again. Go here. Get the Cuban(and the truffle fries!). Find faith in a deity that knows how tasty pork can be. Eat and know how good a sammich can really be. This is not hyperbole.

I am OBSESSED with their«Midwest» grilled cheese. It’s super grown up in the most delicious way. It’s different every time, because they craft the recipe based on what sort of stuff is in season. This week, my grilled cheese had peaches and gouda on it! It was a drool-worthy combination. If you’re going to get fries(and you should), make sure you spend the extra $ 1 to «truffle up» those potatoes! Truffle fries are like crack. You’ll be addicted from the first bite and beg for more. Oh, and there’s «always money in the banana stand.» Check out their cool tip jar, which is decorated to look like the banana stand from Arrested Development. I don’t often tip at food trucks, but that little banana stand is just too darn cute! It always earns at least a buck from my wallet. They deserve it. The service is friendly and as fast as possible given the culinary creations they are making ON A TRUCK! Um, some other awesome things… love the cuban sandwich, love the elk burger sliders, and the mini crab cakes are insanely good. I’ve never tried the tacos, but I’m sure they’re awesome as well.

Tried Serendipity at the Carmel community night Taste of the Trucks. I had the northeast crab cake mini sandwiches and fries. It was tasty and plenty of food.

Wonderful experience for a vegetarian. I had the Black Bean Sliders with the Truffle Fries that was superb. Texture of the black bean patties were the perfect mix of creamy and chunky. Loved the Parmesan and spices on the truffle fries. Serendipity fest was the first time I was introduced to the truck and the whole menu was vegetarian/vegan. Personal favorite of food truck Friday’s.

We were at Triton Brewery and they had a number of food trucks so we were excited to try. I have to say that Serendipity was my least favorite. We had the Meatloaf Minis($ 10) with a side of fries and upgraded to Truffle fries for a dollar. The fries were really soggy and the Meatloaf minis lacked seasoning. A friend ordered the gumbo/stew and it smelled lovely with a side of mac and cheese and a salad. He seemed content. Food: 2⁄5 Service: 3⁄5
