This is such a neat place! I found it through Groupon because I knew I was about out of tea and Groupon had a $ 15 deal for $ 30 worth of Tea(or treasures) I scored because Groupon was doing 20% off of local deals that day. Anyways, the place is in Cumberland, right off of Washington St. The business is inside of a house, but it totally works. When you walk in it is a bit overwhelming because there is so much to look at. There are teapots, some vintage pictures, knick-knacks, teas, cards, etc. They even have a couple different teas brewed to sample for free. I love that all of the teas are organic. When you open a packet you can tell how fresh it is. Each label tells you the ingredients, infusion time, and how many times you can infuse. If you get any of the BrainBrews then those labels mention what the medicinal benefits are. I was ALL about the BrainBrews! I got the PaPaw’s Arthritis because I have lots of pain and I’m excited to see if it does help any. I’m drinking it as I’m typing this and it tastes delicious! I bought two others as well and when I got home I realized I was gifted a sample tea! The other two I bought were the most popular tea, The Canterbury Tea, and the Gingerbread BrainBrew. The teas aren’t cheap, but usually loose leaf tea isn’t so I wasn’t surprised by the pricing. Most bags are around $ 12.99. Totally worth it though. The owner, Donna, was extremely helpful. She educated my girlfriend and I a little on the BrainBrews and on the caffeine in her teas. She mentioned a BrainBrew for migraines, but was out of stock on it. I was bummed about that, but she did say that she just made some and needs to bag it. Donna also mentioned she does free educational classes frequently at this location so I’m hoping to come check one of those out! Overall, I’m extremely happy I purchased the Groupon because I will definitly be coming back in.

Eclectic and cozy. Tuck in your elbows, have a few samples of tea and head home with something for later. All fresh, organic ingredients with no preservatives. Lots of herbs used to treat ailments. I went on Saturday to attend the tea education class, which was 60 minutes and consisted of an informative 30 minute how-I-got-my-start lecture from the owner followed by some basic tea Q&A and TONS of tea sampling. The owner makes an overwhelming amount of tea, but it’s not all in stock all the time. However there were three or four dozen types available when I browsed. Things are all over, tucked in nooks and crannies of this shop. If you’re not sure what you’re looking for, just ask. I got a groupon($ 15 for $ 30 worth of product) which worked well because the tea is $ 9.99-$ 19.99 per bag. Pricey, but the bags state how many times you can reuse each infusion and how many infusions the bag contains. The owner said something like 60 pots of tea for one bag. I’m not too sure about that.

Dropped in to buy tea, wound up with two vintage hats instead! Not because their tea was not fabulous… quite the opposite! Instead, I was on limited funds and just decided I would have to stop back in on my next trip through town later this month. The owner is great, very friendly, and the girl who rang me up was also… she also did a lovely job safely packaging and beautifully wrapping the cups the lady in front of me purchased. All told, a great place! Make a visit, and be prepared to spend some time browsing.

This was an interesting stop. If you have any interest in brewing tea, you should stop by Teapots N Treasures. There are daily samples(with cookies) to be enjoyed, and the owner will answer any and all questions you have about tea or the many other products she sells. She also offers tea classes at the business for free. The selection of teas(all created and blended by the owner) is astounding. The teas are explained on their packaging — from indications, to ingredients, to preparation. Plus, the owner will assist you in choosing the tea(s) that is/are right for you. If you intend to take home two or three teas, plan on spending $ 20 — $ 40. That probably sounds a bit expensive, but a little tea really goes a long way(you can reuse the same leaves throughout the day — just ask, and she’ll explain how that works). This is a business with an owner who clearly loves what she does. She clearly wants people to learn about tea, and it really shows!

Wow, this shop was recommended by several friends now at its new location, I went in this morning to get a couple items, I’m not a tea drinker but several of friends are, so I went to buy a couple gifts. They had the tea and the teapot I was looking for, while the owner was ringing up another, I browsed their extensive teas, earrings, salt and pepper shakers, thinking that I would be back for several upcoming birthdays, holiday gift buying. I wandered to the back where tea and a selection of cookies were. The owner had finished and offered me tea, I said no, I don’t, drink nor do I enjoy it, she proceeded to tell me about the various teas before me. Again I said no thanks I’m just here for a friend. She said I must have a tea made with ground up blood oranges rinds. I told he again no, when I turned to ask a question she had a steaming cup of tea in her hand she said take it and drink it. When I said no I don’t drink it, she the said I was terribly rude to refuse her tea. I said I m sorry I don’t drink it. She said I was rude, dumped it out and stormed off. I left without. Making my purchases, nor will I come back in the future. I will purchase my teas for friends either online. But not through them! Maybe zionsville, Or I will go to Chicago!
