Did you know they do more than wax things here! Today I got the Flash Exfoliation facial. 20 min skin cleaning/​exfoliation for $ 25. My skin feels great. Theresa has been my esthetician for many years and I highly recommend her for your waxing and skin care needs.
The downtown location is in the same building as before but now has a bigger space. They offer great products and services for reasonable prices. The location now has parking available making it even more convenient.

I called on a late Saturday morning to see if they could fit me in for an eyebrow wax and was happy to hear that they could just an hour later! I walked because I live on the canal. The girl who did my eyebrows was awesome and gave them all of the extra attention they needed.
The only con is that the room is really cramped, and I think no matter how great the service is, $ 20 is a lot for an eyebrow wax. That being said, if I ever need an emergency eyebrow wax again, I’m sure I will be calling The Naked Monkey.

For people driving I see how it would be annoying to find parking.
They are very friendly, fast, and very thorough!
Although the rooms are small they are very clean and organized.
I would give them 5 stars if they had deals for frequent customers or were just a bit cheaper.

I have gone to a few different salon/​spa places to have the Brazilian wax done although all of them did it well, the Naked Monkey gets it done quickly and with the least amount of discomfort. I also like the environment. It’s quick and easy.

I called the naked monkey a day in advance to see if they could squeeze me in for a quick wax. They said they had a 15 minute slot open but they would be willing to remove as much hair as possible in that timeframe. So I showed up, and the lady was able to get almost all my hair — more than she said was possible on the phone when I called the day before. Sweeeet. They were quick, professional, and not painful at all. The facilities were very clean and cozy too.

I love this place. Fed up with other estheticians constantly over waxing and thinning out my eyebrows, I decided to try The Naked Monkey. My first visit was with Brittany. My experience was a bit less painful and less stinging than my previous brow waxes at other wax shops. I attribute this to the wax that was used. Brittany listened to me about what I wanted to achieve with my brows as I am trying to grow them out a bit. In the end, I was extremely satisfied. It seems as though I could go longer between waxes too. My next visit was with Teresa and I was just as equally pleased. This is definitely my go to shop for brow waxing now.

Perfect location, great price & my 1st leg wax! My first experience with Naked Monkey was great…& painful. =) Mandi was super understanding, nice & totally fun. She’s a licensed esthetician & knows what shes doing. She made the inevitable OUCH experience so much easier! I immediately booked a 2nd visit.

I can only comment on eyebrows, but as far as that goes, I couldn’t be happier. Brittany was great. Fast, friendly and my eyebrows look great. Would def. reco for eyebrows.

Very efficient. Small studio within a salon. No water with lemon, but much QUICKER than the downtown salon in a fancy hotel. Skilled esthetician knew how to use different waxes for better results. Mandi’s work was excellent. Would visit again.

I usually write long, detailed reviews– but when it comes to this review (much like a waxing) less is more. Keep it PG!
Pros: downtown, with hours that a working person can fit in, quick, no frills, good end result, pretty clean, good staff
Cons: parking sucks, the room is really tiny, the price is exactly the same as a high-​end spa downtown but includes none of the amenities, the trash can was open in the room and full of other people’s used wax strips

I love the location nice and clean. But after three visits I will not return after the last visit. I left very sore and woke up in the morning to scabs all over my lady business not comfortable, then a few days later I was lucky to experience for the first time in my 47 years at least 30 in grown hairs! Lovely! So I was wanting this to pass soon. Didn’t happen. So I decided to call the Naked Monkey and see what I should do. Well after their non-​concerned attitude I decided to cancel my next appointment. After expressing I now look as if I have an std they didn’t seem to care. I don’t like writing negative reviews but felt it necessary. I know now why there aren’t any reviews yet. So BEWARE! Unless you enjoy ingrown hairs? OUCH! Sorry Naked Monkey I’ll have to wax around?
