So, over the weekend I went to get a LOT of small boulders, which I need for a retaining wall project. Me, being picky-wanted to hand pick the 40 boulders, each about 200 lbs in weight. Timmy, the guy working the yard, made me feel right at home. He got me orange tape to mark the stones, and as I marked he would use the fork lift to load the pallet. In all it took about and hour and a half. He might pop away to load something for someone else while I kept looking, but I never felt rushed or like I was trouble or anything. Set up delivery for the stone(5 pallets worth!) and was on my way.

I came here for a stone match, which I was upfront about, and let them know I only needed a small amount to finish the job. At first everything was fine, I looked around, selected the best match, knowing fully well with different lots of stone you cannot expect an exact match. Once I told them my selection the attitude changed. He became almost agressive, irritated, and very short. He was literally throwing other stones on top of mine, almost breaking it. I had to grab it between his throwing of product to make sure I could still use it at my home. I got the material I needed, but I will never go back there. Little do they know I’m in the industry and spec large commercial and residential jobs…

Tiffany Lawn & Garden cheated me out of .5 cubic yards of mulch. This spring(2013) I decided to try Tiffany Lawn & Garden and purchased 2 yards of mulch to be loaded in my pickup. As I was pulling out I noticed the amount of mulch looked smaller than I got last year from a different company. When I got home I measured the bed of my truck and sure enough my truck bed has a volume of 1.5 cubic yards. I thought maybe the loader miss read my invoice, so I went back to get my usual second load. I talked to a different loader and told him I was getting 2 yards, he acknowledged and filled my truck bed with 1.5 cubic yards, I told him I wanted 2 yards and he told me that was 2 yards. I stopped by the office to talk with manager; he told me that their loaders have 2 yard scoops and that I must have done the measuring or math wrong and walked away before I could respond. I left after about 1.5 hours total time there and I will never go back. Tiffany’s mulch losses it color fast. I purchased 4 yards of black mulch(only got 3 yards) this spring(May, 2013) and at now(July, 2013) almost all of the color is gone. I have ranked the mulch to turn it over and even the mulch on the bottom is color washed. The mulch also has a high amount of slim mold, I have dug up about three 5 gal buckets of mold from my beds.
