Youmi Crepes and Bubble Tea

Such a fun environment! The staff is all incredibly energetic and helpful. I tried one of the savory crepes and it was amazing! I’ve been looking for places that sell bubble tea and now that I’ve found one I’ll be here all the time. It’ll fit in very well in broad ripple. Especially come summer :) I will definitely be returning!

Update: After being contacted by Youmi (see review comment), I feel the need to upgrade from 4 to 5 stars. Youmi does offer Nutella replacements and a «Pick X» option. I will definitely be eating some crepes with chocolate sauce in the future!
Great addition to the Broad Ripple strip. I really enjoyed my crêpe. I got one that had custard and it was more of a very light whipped custard, which I enjoyed. Nothing was overly sweet or sugary. I will definitely be trying a savory crêpe in the future and a cold dessert crêpe when the weather warms up.
Two minor cons stuck out to me. 1. The coffee was bad. That’s an easy fix/​get a bubble tea instead. That is, of course, part of the draw of this place.
2. I’m about to commit blasphemy here, but I do not care for Nutella. At all. I sort of hate it. I believe it’s something like ⁷⁄₉ dessert crepes have Nutella on them, and Nutella is an expensive product. I got mine without Nutella, but it was still $ 6.95 for the custard, bananas, and a bit of strawberries. That’s fine, but my major disappointment was that there was no way to replace the Nutella — they don’t offer chocolate, fudge, strawberry, etc sauces.
I will absolutely be going back. I think they could benefit from adding a few options other than Nutella and including «Pick 3» and «Pick 4» topping options for build your own crepes.

Finally we havean official bubble tea place in Indiana. Woohoo! Just heard about this new place and here we are! Tried their bubble teas and crepes. Loved the spicy beef and chicken curry crêpe. Their food style is so that you can walk and eat at the same time. They make their crepes shaped like a cone so that it’s easy to carry around. A must try. I’m coming back soon :-)

Really good boba! Haven’t had an opportunity to try the crepes yet, but they looked pretty solid. Definitely gonna snag one next time. So happy I don’t have to drive all the way to the west side or Carmel to get some legit boba anymore!!! Now I can further perpetuate my inevitable diabetic coma with my beloved taro boba tea, after I spend 2 hours working out at LA Fitness down the street.

I’m going to need to up my workouts as I’m going to be a regular at Youmi!
They have a wonderful array of bubble teas. Our favorite though is the traditional bubbles and taro flavor! Their boba had the perfect consistency like gummies.
Service was prompt and very polite!

The crêpe was cooked to perfection. Slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It is a generous portion, too. We can’t wait to come back and try the different varieties.
I do wish they had the space for self serve frozen yogurt because I know they would have the best flavors but alas there is no space. Maybe one day.
A great addition to the strip in Broad Ripple!

New addition to the Broad Ripple strip! A wide menu of sweet and savory crepes and large selection of fresh made bubble teas! The staff was sweet and quick to serve. The place was clean and bright. Nice place for a treat. We had a lychee bubble tea and an apple cinnamon crêpe. Delicious!
