Executive Carpet and Tile was hired to wash, clean, strip, polish and coat all the tile in the house from the floors to shower and kitchen tiles. The job that was completed in regards to the Saltillo floors was a very satisfactory job. There’s no doubt that we could have been talked into having more coats on the floor before the final and last top coating was completed(we understood that this was an additional cost but we were alright with that knowing that we had one shot at this if we didn’t want the entire floors stripped all over again) but we were made felt like this was an inconvenience and that he would have to order more sealer and that could be longer on the job. We chose to accept that answer and move on, that was the wrong thing for us, but that is on us for not being more forward. We had never had tile like this before and didn’t exactly know what the final top coat would or wouldn’t look like. But all in all, the floors look nice. However in regards to the kitchen countertops was a disaster. The previous owner of the house used some sort of pasty sealant type substance on the large island in which we wanted the island stripped to the natural stone and sealed with a natural sealant. The owner Danny bid on the job and assured us that it would be tough to remove the existing sealant but he would be able to get the job done and the counters would be able to get back if not close to natural stone again. When he began the stripping, there was a lot of talk about how difficult this is and remarks about his the previous owner ruined the stone and that he would not be able to take it down to the stone. Danny understood that this was a very unsatisfactory job and asked me what we wanted to do, really, keeping in mind that the island has already been stripped by Danny and there’s no reversing the process now. The surface was rough, gritty and still had shiny spots from where the previous material was left that he could not remove. He didn’t even make an attempt to strip the side edges as that was too difficult to do because it could drop on the cabinets… just another excuse in my mind. I asked him to call another professional to get some advice, he made a call and was told nothing could be done. He sealed the countertop, collected his pay, made zero efforts to rectify the job and said he was sorry. The next morning when the sun shined thru, the job was awful! I couldn’t take it anymore and felt that we couldn’t live with this stone tile in the way it was left in that condition. I took light sandpaper and sanded MYSELF down to natural stone all day long. I was able to remove all the shiny spots grit and old sealer. This company states that they are the experts in tile and assured us that the job would get done, not so!!! Danny spent a lot of his time complaining about the work and reminded us continuously each day how he is working his butt off on this job… hello, this company was paid over 6G to work 4.5 days! I informed Danny that if he wasn’t able to handle the job, I wish he would have let me know that up front and perhaps our discussion to have the kitchen tops stripped would have not happened then. This company did a bad job and left the client holding the bag to figure out how to correct their own job… this should have been figured out by them, their professionals in this field, not me! I informed the owner that I would not consider nor use his company again, when yet we have outside patios that need work and he was interested in handling that job for us. I wouldn’t trust this company’s discussion making skills about how to rectify a problem… they will tell you a great grand story when trying to get the job and then will make excuses about why they couldn’t complete the job and leave the client feeling not so good about their hard earned money being spent. We are business owners ourselves of three companies, we would NEVER leave a client unhappy let alone with an incomplete job… if this meant us having to hire another company to make this right, so be it… as mentioned, no other attempts to rectify this and at least make the client feel that everything that could have been done, was done! I gave this company 2 stars, that was even questionable.

Today I had executive carpet come out to do the carpet in my home. Many years ago I was the owner/operator of my own carpet cleaning business so I know when someone does good work and not so good work. They were on time and gave me a very fair rate. I would recommend them if you are looking to have your home or business carpet or tile cleaned.

The carpet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned. The high traffic areas still look dark. The spots are still obvious, even while the carpet is wet. Typically, cleaners make the carpet look clean and then spots reappear, but I guess we skipped this part. There was no crew, only one person. I pointed out that the carpet didn’t look clean, and he said I must have cleaned it with some other chemical. I haven’t, but it must be the customers fault – right? The carpets are two years old and this is my first time cleaning them in my kids rooms. No sense of accountability or pride in service from this company. Waste of time and money.

I have referred Executive Carpet & Tile Care to two of my client’s who were looking to have their carpets cleaned. Daniel and his crew did both jobs – they were responsive, punctual, friendly, and did quality work. They also worked with our specific scheduling needs. They made me look good and the homeowners were very satisfied. I won’t go anywhere else.
